I won't judge it until I actually watch the WCW DVD, but not many DVds have lived up to the awesomeness of the ECW one.

I have only watched very few episodes of ECW and WCW, so its obvious that my opinion would not be counted, but still I would say R&F of ECW, for the hardcore bouts.

And, do you really think Vince will twist things in R&F of WCW? I mean, I dont think so. If he does hate it too much, why did he made Eric Bischoff, the GM of Raw?! Well, I dont know much about the history, so I am just saying.

Hopefully Vince won't feel the need to twist the story too much in his favour, given how much time has passed and the fact that it is obvious to wrestling fans that he won in the end.

Rise & Fall of ECW was awesome, one of the greatest DVD's I have ever seen. I'm gonna watch Rise & Fall of WCW but without guys like Bishoff, Sting, Goldberg etc it won't be as good as Rise & Fall of ECW.

ECW told it all, and interviewed all who were a critical part of the promotion. The WCW one lacks Turner, Watts and Bischoff, 3 pivotal person's. WCW's will have more historical significance, but I guess the judgement will be made when it's been viewed.

Exactly, that ECW documentary actually was pretty one-sided. I still refuse to accept the notion that the Attitude era was just a rip-off of ECW. I think Heyman really wants to believe that, but I seriously don't see it that way. I actually started following ECW during the Attitude era and it felt like 2 completely different genres. And when I really started getting into ECW, I realised their wrestling was a thousand times better than the shit WWE was putting out during that time.

Heyman also refuses to accept any responsibility for ECW's demise, which is nothing short of a load of shit. He spends 10 minutes on that documentary blaming everyone from Bischoff to TNN and it just makes me cringe. Never once does he say, "You know, maybe flaming the only company that was generous enough to give us a shot on their own network and mocking them every chance I got probably wasn't a good idea..." Or that he tried to expand the company too fast too soon like WCCW did (just so he could compete with WWF and WCW) and suffered their same fate. Not to mention he actually insists TNN was the only option he had, even though professional wrestling was sort of a big deal during that era. Heyman is so full of shit. Genius promoter, but completely full of shit. And to think he had the audacity to say the same thing about Bischoff on that documentary when Bischoff makes VERY valid points throughout the entire thing. lol @ ECW ever being the #2 promotion.

I agree to an extent because I LOVE Bischoff and consider him to be one of the smartest men in the history of the business. BUT... if he was just going to say the same type of garbage Heyman laced into the ECW documentary, I would rather pass. But I doubt he would considering he was pretty straight-forward in the Monday Night Wars dvd and his biography. I don't think Bischoff played NEAR as big a part in WCW's demise as Heyman played in ECW. Both promotions suffered from problems with their respective networks, but Heyman was behind the wheel the whole time. ECW was doing just fine until Heyman decided he wanted to jump to the mainstream, yet still refused to comply with mainstream standards.

It doesn't matter how much BS he spouts, you can't fairly tell the story of a war without each side telling their story.
