Around 1997 I still can't believe I didn't know he was the owner. Then again I didn't think about that kind of stuff back then.

When HBK would always fuck with him, lol. Like when HBK would be talking about the people who run this place, and then he would all of a sudden looked at Vince. Thats when I started to realize it.

For me, he was always the "nice guy" commentator who wore a tie, had slick black hair, and would always shout out "UNBELIEVABLE!" (I know, how ironic.)

That was until his feud with Stone Cold, and then I was quite stunned by both his conversion into a money-hording jackass and my discovery that he was da boss.

I knew this in 1990 when I bought my first non-WWF magazine as a kid (Inside Wrestling or something like that). There was an editorial that had a picture of Vince with a caption: "WWF owner Vince McMahon...".

I told my other friends about this and they said I "was full of shit and that Jack Tunney was the owner".

Probably Like 2000. Was Watching the WWF/E on & off since 1997 but i was young and never really paid attention to it.

The fact that whenever Bret Hart used to scream that He was screwed he'd always end up either yelling or attacking Vince in 96-97 that kinda gave me a clue like hey maybe there is more to him then I thought.
