Re: Jeff Hardy Talks Retirement, Mike Adamle, and More
He said he's not wrestling in 5 years?
In my opinion it's never a good thing to openly state you're considering leaving your current occupation in the forseeable future....I mean, that could be misinterperted in several ways such as you really don't have the passion and aren't fully behind the business.......kinda like Brock and Lashley, they received massive pushes and then dipped out on the company leaving officials pissed because they invested so much in them and then just took that popularity and ran with it.....
If I was Hardy, and seriously wanting to hold the WWE championship, I would've said something along the lines of WWE is in my blood, I live for the business and have no intentions on leaving anytime soon......
I mean I couldn't imagine my boss wanting to give me a promotion if he knew I was doubtful if I'd even be with the company in the future.....

I underttand what you saying there but that sounds to kayfabe tbh. Sounds like something he would say while he was in character. I Guess he's just being realistic. He's been wrestling for what 15 years now. so he's looking to bow out after 5 which is fine.

Come to think of it, that would be the best match possible. So, er... just another Kennel from Hell match would qualify.

Considering how fucked up his body is, he's thinking pretty realistically. I'm sure other wrestlers feel the exact same way as him except they didn't say it publicly.
Him saying that he won't be doing this forever is nothing new.

Re: Jeff Hardy Talks Retirement, Mike Adamle, and More
I heard Jeff Hardy retiring rumours a couple years back.. Apparantly he said it in a interview before. But this could possibly be a way to get the WWE Title faster or at all. Abit like Kane, he said he was going to retire soon and he got the ECW Title, had a shot at the tag titles with Punk and had numerous title/#1 contender matches for the World Heavyweight Title.
Re: Jeff Hardy Talks Retirement, Mike Adamle, and More
Actually his chances are better than ever now to make it big in WWE. He said he's out in 5 years, so Vince must think "I need to milk the cow while she still works for me, dammit!" (or something along that lines).
Re: Jeff Hardy Talks Retirement, Mike Adamle, and More
t4p.. yeah, he shouldn't have mentioned not wrestling in 5 yrs
