No, this isn't another "I wish it was more like the good ol' days" thread. Or bore you with ridiculous "armchair booker" suggestions like "they need to push the young talent". It's pretty obvious what they are doing wrong, and this goes for both companies, even though TNA is virtually unwatchable.

The sad truth that noone at WWE seems to want to admit is that they only have a select few wrestlers who are worth watching and yet we don't see enough of them. A prime example of this is Batista. I don't tune into RAW to see what Batista is up too this week. I don't care what Batista does. I don't wait in anticipation each week to see what Batista might do. Nothing the WWE writers can do will make me care about Batista, yet Vince McMahon doesn't seem to get this. Batista is going to be in the title picture and thats that. McMahon has spoken.

Another thing they are doing wrong is forcing every match into a separate storyline, which creates tons of weak storylines instead of a few great ones. Seriously, I like Batman as much as the next guy, but do I really want to read about what Alfred The Butler is doing when he isn't helping Bruce Wayne? Can William Regal or Rey Mysterio just be a good worker for PPV and House Shows without getting their own "segment" each week on cable that I have to fast forward through to get to the good stuff? And really, can't we have a PPV match that isn't part of a "fued?" Do we really have to have Kane steal Mysterios mask? Does that really make the PPV match that much more entertaining?

Pretty sure Batista is the most over guy on Raw right now, so him in the ME is logical.

So you hate Batista. OK. Batista still is a main eventer though and someone that Raw will devote a lot of time to.

You also seem to want more time to be focused on the bigger storylines. Storylines that would focus mainly on guys like Batista, who you hate...

You couldn't possibly have mixed it up any worse could you? What I actually said was, there should be more emphasis on major storylines that affect those select few wrestlers who are actually worth tuning into watch (Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Triple H, Edge, Jeff Hardy, Big Show).

It wouldn't focus more on "guys like Batista" because guys like Batista wouldn't be involved in major storylines. It would be simple really to just eliminate his three segments on RAW:

Segment #1:

Interrupt the current champion and act like a tough guy on the mic. I figure they could just play Batista's music but have a chimpanzee come out and take a dump in the middle of the ring. It would be more entertaining and a lot cheaper.

Segment #2:

Walking around back stage acting like a tough guy can be replaced with reruns of the old Randy Savage SlimJim commercials.

Segment #3:

Main Event tag match where Batista stays in the corner until getting the hot tag and winning the match with his 2-move arsenal, could be replaced with an episode of "Wrestlings biggest secrets revealed."
