LOL at the thought of Big Wiggle being skilled in the art of the Japanese style of wrestling. Why wouldn't they bring somebody like Tomko or Albert, who have gone over to Japan and successfully adapted to the Japanese style of wrestling and become far better performers for it, back to help train and go out there if they want somebody prolific in that style?

He's been hired to train not wrestle, you're point could still stand as there's 1000's of wrestlers with more experience in japan than Smiley's, I just don't see Albert and Tomko training people just yet!

Re: Vince McMahon Making Even More Big WWE Changes; WWE Testing Out Knockout Finishes
A more realistic feel to matches and better acting? Sounds good to me. Any emphasis on the in ring action is a plus. Maybe that's why Noble is finishing matches with an armbar now. If a more realistic style will benefit younger starts and create some original finishes, it'll be great. Knockout finishes don't bother me. Realistically, a man can only take so many blows to the head, and the submission pass out is severely underused, imo. It's a great way to have someone win a match but still have the loser look strong for not tapping.

WWE has some of the stiffest guys in their roster like JBL and Simmons (Taker can be stiff on occasions), with both of them are broken down, Vince can use them to teach those young guys.

I think it's a great idea to try and make the matches seem more realistic. Acting classes would be a good idea for some of the younger guys on the roster too.

WWE imitating Japanese wrestling? So what reason do I have to still watch WWE?

Well, at the very least, it would require a change in the mat that covers the ring.

It's not really a matter of making it bloodier, it's a matter of making the strikes especially look more realistic.

Having too many stiff strikes? There's no such thing.
Having too many knockout finishes? Only if they're not believable. Having a near 500 pound man punch you in the face would knock you out, I have no problem with that.

I really hope they don't overuse these styles of finishes.

FFS ive said this before, for the amount these guys are getting paid, they should be taking proper shots instead of being pussies. I would. Think about the guys in CZW who arent afraid to take proper shots, stiff rights and so on. And they dont get paid any where near the amount that WWE guys do.
