I just looked it up on youtube and i was wrong. I was thinking of Love/Austin vs Bulldog/Owen. I Gave the HBK/Austin vs Bulldog/Owen match ****. I remember watching it live and on the MNW's DVD.

Fuck I miss 1998, I'm reviewing No Way Out 1998 right now and the show isn't very special but it's just got such a GOOD feel to it like the company was GETTING popular.

I liked No Way Out Of Texas 1998. The Main Event was a decent Match. I thought the Kane/Vader Match could of been a little better. Actually the WWF could of just used Vader better from mid 1997-1998. They screwed up big time there.

My Pillman set FINALLY came in the mail today !!!! Watching the DOC right now and its fuckin OWNS !!! Cant wait to watch the Superbrawl '92 match vs Liger.

The Pillman set is fantastic. One of the best documentary pieces and the match selection is great. There are so many good or great matches on there.

Austin/HBK KOTR 97 **** 1/2 but I can see why people would lower it 1/4* or 1/2* lower for the the interuption at the beginning and the different ending. Still both guys in there prime and Steve's attitude in that match was among the best I have ever seen in any match ever. Pure Bad Ass.

HBK giving Austin the finger epic too considering at the time Micheals was still slowly but surely showing his true nature inside the ring. It all started at the beginning of the year with his shoot promos on Bret and lead to him giving Austin the fingers in the middle of the ring at KOTR 97. His persona only got even better from there what with the birth of DX and whatnot.

No Way Out was pretty trash. Quebecers vs. Godwinns, seriously, over a bucket softer than a cushion, was turd. And Savio Vega as a replacement for HBK, and considering they were building it up as it being at least someone like Bret Hart. The main event was a clusterfuck but it was entertaining, but Rocky's promo alone stole the show.

That main event might have been a clusterfuck but I liked it, it actually was pretty fun.

I hated the Ground Zero HBK/Taker Clusterfuck and I'm giving it the same rating I gave that so no one can say I'm REALLY overrating the NWO 1998 Main Event at ** 3/4.

I consider ** 3/4 to be a PRETTY GOOD match for sure, if not very good.
