I was thinking, and besides two(Undertaker and Triple H because everyone remembers them from back when wrestling was pop culturee.) There are no bigger-than-life wrestlers. Anyone i missed?

Punk could be marketable with the straight edge gimmick if WWE are appealing to kids.

Not much gimmicks i could think of that would appeal to the mainstream anymore.

Besides Cena, HBK comes close. And even though he's retired, Ric Flair has become a household name.

They tried with Cena and it failed miserably.

Kennedy has a shot but thats about it really.

John Cena is the biggest marketable star they have at the moment - mainly because their biggest market is children, unfortunately.

John Cena has almost become a house hold name over here in the United Kingdom, almost reaching the same level of international celebrity that The Rock had. Everyone knew, and continues to know, who The Rock is.

I think there are several workers in the company that could reach that level, notably Ken Kennedy and CM Punk, but other than that no one but the obvious guys that have been around since the 90's comes to mind.
