Stone cold dvd review disk 2, I will repost disk 1 aswell.
The legacy of Stone cold Disc 1.
Whenever Austin is talking about his career it is very good.
Hollywood Blondes vs Steamboat and Shane douglas (under masks) in a steel cage: ***3/4, Awesome matt wrestling with great cage spots, Steamboat got hot tagged and then it was Brilliant! The High crossbody onto both blondes by steamboat off the top of the cage was superb! Austin gets the pin with a stungun.
Stunning Steve austin vs Flying Brian Pillman: ***1/4, Good wrestling here aswell, Lots of great moves and counters that were new to me. Austin won after his manager tripped up Pillman when attempting a springboard move.
Stunning Steve Austin vs Ricky Steamboat: ****3/4, Awesome as you would expect, This match reminded me alot of Savage/Steamboat with all the near falls near the end of the match and even using the same finish, Steamboat won after countering a scoop slam.
Superstar Steve Austin vs Mikey Whipwreck vs Sandman in a 3 way elimination match: **3/4, Alright stuff here, Its good to see An old ECW match on here.
Steve austin vs Savio Vega, Carribean Strap Match: ***1/2, Long match and was very brutal and had good pyschology, Vega won here Thus getting rid of ted Dibiase as Austins manager.
Steve austin vs Bret Hart SS96: *****, Early in the match they talked about Brets ring rust, With ring rust you shouldnt be able to pull off a match this good, Damn this was Awesome. Bret won with an awesome spot, Austin had the million dollar dream but Bret kicked off the corner and rolled through. Awesome.
EXTRAS:
Name of Steve Austin: Good little touch here, Pretty interesting.
Vs Yokozuna at Summerslam 96: ROFL!!! This is hilarious! Austin wins after Yokozuna trys to climb to the top but the rope snaps and he falls down, Austin gets the pin! ROFLMFAO!
Terry funk confrontation, Very interesting here, Mainly Terry Funk swearing at Austin in commentary, Austin had enough and brawled with Funk.
Promos: Steveamania, ROFLMFAO! Awesome stuff and aboslutely hilarious. You know something Mean JOEY!
First ECW promo: This was great aswell, The famous promo in ECW that happened at 4:30am and was Austin talking bout Bischoff.
Overall: Very good first disc, 9/10, 2 aboslute classics and every match being good. Great promos and steve austin talking was great aswell.
Disk 2:
As i said, Every time it has Austin talking i am listening 100%.
Austin vs Taker, a cold day in hell: ***1/2, The hart family where in the crowd, Both men mainly worked on each others legs here, Taker won with a tombstone piledriver and the Hart family attacked afterwards, Austin got Bret alone and pushed his wheelchair over.
HBK and Austin vs Owen and Bulldog: ***3/4, extremely fun and entertaining TV match right here.
HBK vs Austin at KOTR97: ****1/4, Classic, Great wrestling and everything was great except the finish but no1 looked weak here.
Austin and Dude love vs Owen and Bulldog: ***1/2, Fun but not as good as HBK and Austin vs Owen and bulldog because Austin was alone for most of it.
Owen vs Austin at SS : ****, This was a great match from these to, It could be have been that bit better but we all know what happened here, I was amazed Austin was able to crawl after that piledriver.
Austin vs Dude Love: ***1/2, Mostly a brawl but an entertaining one, Foley once again takes a huge bump from a box thing onto concrete, OUCH! LOL at mcmahon trying to copy the screwjob here.
Austin vs kane First blood: ***1/2, Another brawl but this time their was A cell involved, Taker and Mankind interfered, Taker had some weird shirt on btw :P, Taker cost Austin to match after trying to hit Mankind.
Austin vs Kane, Rematch: ***1/4, Taker came out again in this one but did nothing, another good match here.
Extras: Mr mcmahon, This was Austin talking about how much he loved the feud with Mcmahon.
Overall: No classic ***** like the 1st disc but every match was a ***1/4+, Austins talking is always good. 8/10.
