THE ROCK CHARACTER IS DEAD, INTERESTING THEORY ON WRESTLER'S EARLY MORTALITY RATE
THE ROCK IS DEAD, INTERESTING THEORY ON WRESTLER'S EARLY MORTALITY RATE, HEYMAN TALKS GUNS N' ROSES
by Dave Scherer @ 2008-05-14 12:51:36
Shawn Harris sent this. ... I got a copy of Men's Journal magazine yesterday, and they had a good interview with Dwayne Johnson. His picture was on the cover, along with a blurb that will surely give Vince McMahon a warm fuzzy feeling. "THE ROCK IS DEAD. Dwayne Johnson & the art of reinventing yourself."
I saw that at the airport on my way home from Vegas and cracked up and thought the same thing that Shawn did.
Episode 13 of The Heyman Hustle is now online at The Sun website. This week Paul Heyman talks to Duff McKagan about the possibility of a Guns N' Roses reunion.
Eric Cohen has written a piece at About.com that looks at the possibility that some wrestlers may die prematurely due to dissection, which is when a tear occurs in the inner lining of of the carotid and vertebral arteries in the neck. This can happen when the head and neck are jerked about and affects the blood flow from the heart to the brain. It's an interesting piece.
Not sure if i am too happy about Dwayne no longer wanting to acknowledge his wrestling career.

Paul Heyman? Who cares.
As for Rock that is tough to read since I want him to comeback. Seems like he is adamant about getting far away from the wrestling business and that's fine. WWE needs to forget about Rock and concentrate on their young stars.

Know Your Role, jabroni. Dwayne Johnson may have given up the character, but i've decided to take the reigns and be the new Rock. I'm sure that makes everybody happy
To answer your what i'm sure was a non-sarcastic question....
The Rock is the jabroni beating, lalaalalalalooowww, pie eating, trail blazing, eyebrow raising, heart stopping, elbow dropping, people's champ!
Ya know, just in case you'd forgotten.

Re: THE ROCK CHARACTER IS DEAD, INTERESTING THEORY ON WRESTLER'S EARLY MORTALITY RATE
The Rock and his character are both still very much alive. You cannot just erase history, you can write new chapters, but you can never get rid of the previous ones. If The Rock showed up on Raw next week, would he get a huge pop? Yes, why? Because he is a part of history, a BIG part. There is no changing that fact, he may not have been on top for long, but he left his mark... permanently.
So in the words of The Great One... it doesn't matter what the writer of this article thinks.
