He is a really good actor and if any of us were given the chance to be a movie star we'd take it.
I respect the man, i love the man, I grew up watching him and he is a big inspiration too me.

He will forever be the jabroni beatin, pie eatin, ass whooping, Peoples champ, The great one!!!
And will always be the most electrifying man in Entertainment.

So his wrestling is done but 1 thing is for certain we will see him back again. When FINALLY,

THE ROCK HAS COME BACK TO THE HALL OF FAME!!!

I have no problem with The Rock IMO it was good for him to get out while he still can, i mean think about it
Pros of being in WWE:
-Fans
-Entertainment
-Championships
-Legacy
-Family hounour(For The Rock anyway)

Cons of being in WWE:
-Being on the road All year round
-Not being able to spend time with your familes
-Divorce(This is common in WWE)
-Backbreaking schedule
-Backstage politics
-The fear of being rejected
-The risk of your character becoming stale E.G Hulk Hogan

Pros of being in Movie Business:
-Money
-Fame
-Light schedule
-A chance to try new things and branch out
-Being able to reinvent your character
-Being able to spend time with your family

Cons of being in Movie Business:
-Loss of WWE fans
-Being called a sellout

Overall The Rock has made a good choice and if some fans can't deal with it then i guess some people take WWE way to seriously

Wow, what a great read. Dwayne sounds like an awesome guy. I'd love to see him in one last match but good luck to him with his movie career, when the novel I'm writing gets made into a movie I'll vouch for him as the main character!

It was an awful career decision.

He went from being potentially the greatest wrestler/entertainer of all time to some b-grade movie actor few people care about.

Of course, from a money and health perspective, it was good, but otherwise.. nah.

I would understand the rock (sorry, dwayne) much more if he was actually any good at acting. But he isnt. Hes gone from greatness to mediocrity.

Dwayne made a good decision, and he'll live longer resulting from the decision too.

Some people need to get out of the little wrestling bubble they're in. Being the best wrestler of all time might mean something in the wrestling business, but in the rest of real life it means nothing really. You might not think he's any good, but that's completely irrelevant. He shouldn't stop making movies just because some wrestling fans don't think his movies are good. He commands $10 million per movie according to that article, so Hollywood obviously sees something in him.
We need to stop being selfish. I'm the biggest Rock fan i know and i'm happy he's doing what he's doing.

If he wants to do movies, fine.....his choice, thats cool. But really, he could make the odd appearance like Austin, Foley or even Piper.
