Obviously everyone knows the story of the family and its tragedies, i just wonder what peoples thoughts are on their legacy to the wrestling business, with the WCCW etc

also its worth checking out cornettes shoot on the Von Ercih family on youtube, who he describes them as "kids" and "rockstars of dallas with no reins".

Another interesting find was teh video of kevin von erich discussing how he "nearly died" in japan, after watching the video i cant help but think he isnt tell the truth? ... judge for yourselves...

but between '82 -'84 they were as hot as anyone ever

indeed, in the cornette vid he says something like they were getting crowds of 40,000 in 84(?) , bt had plumetted by around '87

If only one or two tragedies happened in the family then they could of been the biggest icons in the business (and probably were at the time of there peak) but suicide after suicide....the fans turned away.

Good DVD WCCW was and the Von Erich's should be Hall of Famers one day.
