I have been meaning to tweak 2Slick's old WWE section rules for a while now. With the jobber mod Amp making the jump to this section, we decided now was the best time. No real major changes, just dropped some stuff, added new rules, and simplified others. People who continually break the rules will be subject to warning points and may be banned. Oh and thank Will94 for the kickass banner.
Don't Bump Old threads
Really simple, don't bump threads more than five days old unless you have new information pertaining to that thread.
Don't Double Post.
I don't think this requires much explanation.
No Duplicate / Similar Threads
Threads with the same insider reports or discussing similar topics will be close. This also means threads with a subject related to an already open thread. For example. There shouldn’t be a threads about Kennedy’s finisher, Kennedy’s mic work, and kennedy’s match next week open at the same time. Since they are all related to Kennedy, the oldest thread will be the only one to remain open.
NO SMACKDOWN SPOILERS
I hate spoilers. Don’t post spoiler threads in the smackdown section. Don’t post spoilers outside of the spoiler thread and if a discussion calls for it, use spoiler tags. If the spoiler is big enough, say a major title change for example, warning points may be issued.
No Flaming
Do not flame people for having an opinion or disagreeing with your opinion. Also don’t flame in response to a flame because both of you will be banned.
Put threads in their proper section
This has been a very big problem as of late. If a thread is about a
smackdown wrestler, put it in the
smackdown forum. WWE game threads go in word games, etc.
NO MORE WHO'S BETTER/WHO WOULD WIN THREADS
This has also been a major problem as of late, (blank) or (blank). All these threads seem to compare two random wrestlers and all produce the same type of posts. For now one there will be no more of these “Who’s better” threads or anything similar.
No more Crap threads
If a thread has a weak or dumb subject manner, or is just a random thought with seemly no reason, it will be closed. If a mod doesn't think a thread has enough depth, it will be closed. If a mod thinks a thread shouldn’t be open, it will be closed.
Provide Sources /No Threads based on Wikipedia information
If you post wrestling news, post where you got the info. A link directly to the article would be even better. Wikipedia is the least reible source of wrestling news. Any thread based on wikipedia info will be closed.
YouTube Threads in YouTube section
If your thread links to a YouTube video, post it in the YouTube section, which can be found here:
http://www.wrestlingforum.com/youtub...video-section/
Don't PM mods in regards to the DVD star rating thread.
Your review will be added to the thread whenever we are ready to add them. Don't PM the mods asking for your reviews to be added. We are not obligated to put every review in at the exact minute they are posted. If you continue to PM the mods in such an annoying fashion, you could be warned or even banned.
