WWE: Life after Vince
Alright so I thought Id make a thread that actually required a little thought and imagination, you know to get away from the usual threads.
Now lately Ive been thinking about this idea, esspecially after reading some of the reports as of late. Now we all know Vince is getting pretty old. Hes not out of the game yet, but he has to be looking to step down soon. Now the man has two children, Stephanie and Shane. They both have very different views, and one has a husband that loves to politic the backstage. Now the day is going to come that they have a difference. What do you think the WWE is going to be like after those two(three counting HHH) take over?? To be honest I forsee a split.
I dont know, this has just been a though of mine that Ive had for quite some time and wondered what everyone else thought about it. Honestly it could be the end of the WWE as who knows how those three will get along?
Thoughts? Comments? Bash me??

Re: WWE: Life after Vince
Pretty good thread man. I do think Shane and Steph will have to co-exist in order to keep the company alive, and I think they will do it. They may disagree at times, but the WWE has been in the McMahon family for years, and I know they will make sure it stays alive and dominant in pro wrestling.

Re: WWE: Life after Vince
WWE will survive most definatly if Shane doesnt own the company, lawls. Shane cares too much about wrestling and forgets why people watch WWE.
I mean the guy wants MMA type action, wants less kayfabe on WWE.com and is just crazy. Stephanie is terrible because she lets her beef with superstars get in the way of making money which is a sad weakness for her.
If I had a choice though, Id pick Stephanie. Sure many talented superstars would lose their job, but at least she understands the important concept of entertainment. If Shane runs the company then TNA would definatly beat WWE in the ratings department, lawls. I mean TNA has Gail Kim for pete's sake. Those are the type of manly looking women Shane would hire, and that will mean a decrease in ratings.
Its no coincidence RAW ratings are dropping since Mickie James has had more television time. Im just saying.. oink, oink, lawls.

Wait first off did you just say Gail Kim looks like a man?? I question your sexuality from here on out. Also, you believe that Mickie James has lead to ratings decreasing??
You ever notice how WWF(at the time) was most over when they had actual matches? I mean when I hear people talk about wrestling they basically shit all over it, and to be honest, I UNDERSTAND IT. WWE isnt getting many new fans as the world sees it as a joke. Stephanie makes terrible decisions as a whole. Id love to see what Shane could do with full power and a decent writing team.

Re: WWE: Life after Vince
I think Shane's influence would actually be a good thing. I mean, wrestling. There is in the WWE, the "World", which makes the WWE world wide, the "E", the last letter, which means entertainment, but the second "W" has never really been in proper place except for on Smackdown sometimes. While the business might be sports entertainment, it is a wrestling company, and that is what Shane has the ideas of, that Steph can't see.
And don't even bring in Triple H. He is bad enough with out actually having much control over the company. I have always thought Shane>Steph, and after reading the report that Steph has the mind of her father in terms of the business, that scares me, as Vince only really has a good mind in the wrestling business whenever some serious competition comes in, otherwise, it can be good at best. And if Steph has that mind, then I am a bit scared for WWE.

Triple H was trying to block Kurt from winning the WWF title, he said in a meeting, ‘I think Kurt Angle’s too small.’ And Gerry Brisco stood up and said, ‘Well, what do you think would happen if you guys fought for real?’ and HHH sat down, shut his mouth and they ran with it.

Re: WWE: Life after Vince
I agree that everything that I've heard about Stephanie is that she is almost exactly like her old man. She marks for big men (some of which really have no talent), she values entertainment over wrestling, and she fires people instead of actually taking the effort to use them. However, she and Trips have business sense that Shane, by all accounts, does not have.
Eventually Steph and Trips will be in control of the WWE, but I think it would be good if they let Shane have most of the control of one brand. Like today, we could have the more entertainment based Raw and the more Wrestling based Smackdown. Hopefully ECW will fit in there somewhere, but Steph might discontinue the brand fire all the talent because at one point, it was Paul Heyman's idea.

Re: WWE: Life after Vince
I think that Steph is just ruthless comparing to Shane. He cares about Wrestling more than anything, and maybe that's not a good choice business-wise! Don't get me wrong, it's all about wrestling for me but to keep this running Steph is the best choice!
Of course I'm not counting TripleH or even the knack Steph has for firing people out of the blue or who she has a beef with... Shane would make the shows more interesting but in a long-term perspective, "that" iron fist is needed!

i think if shane o mac, triple h and steph would have different things in mind so if they can work together i think the company can last and do well without vince

Re: WWE: Life after Vince
I think shane and steph would do a good job but i have a feeling Trips will have a big part of it as well.
Steph has been promoted recently so it seems likely her and trips will be the main peopl in charge and shane will prob be incontrol of the shows or the rosters.

Re: WWE: Life after Vince
I think WWE would be a lot better if Shane ran the company rather than Stephanie. Shane understands what wrestling fans want, Stephanie lets her rivalry with other superstars or employees get in the way of making WWE better. Stephanie cares more about the entertainment side of the business rather than the actual Wrestling side of it, now most people on this forum hate a lot of the entertainment side so maybe it would be better if Shane was in control in the future, perhaps i'm wrong. Who knows what WWE will be like when Vince is gone.
