Which format of the MiTB Match do you think is better? The 6-man or 8-man. I'd go with the 6-man because the ring it's just too crowded with people, even though Wrestlemania 23 match was basically a 6-man after Hardy killed Edge.
8 man was a little much because you knew that only about 3 of those wrestlers, maybe 4, has any shot of winning and the only ones were just there to clutter things up. it was still an amazing match, but those extra two people really had no purpose
I personally preferred the 6-man matches. The wrestlers that participated actually seem like credible candidates to the WHC or WWE title, opposed to the few less-appreciated wrestlers that get involved in the 8-man matches.
Because of the above, 6-man matches seem to hold more suspense since you know any of them have an actual valid chance to win.

I enjoy the 6 man one much better. The ring is far too crowded with 8 people in it plus ladders. 6 is the way to go. Also, having less people will help make the undercard better for WM.
8 is probably a bit much, even though the 8 man is my favourite MITB since Kennedy won it.
Take out 2 guys and you can have another match at WM. That's the one problem with MITB, there's all these guys in it and looking at all 3 matches, most of them are talented, so when you use them in that one match, it limits what you can do with the rest of the card.
I still love the MITB concept though. I look forward to it even more than the Rumble now.
I loved the 8-Man MITB this year; I don't see a problem with it. Sure we know that some people aren't going to win, but we know someone's not going to win anyway.
Yeah, the crowded argument doesn't really hold here. It's rather the lack of competitiveness because some people are just there to clutter things up for some reason. But, now that we've had the 6 men and 8 men version, maybe it would be nice to scrape off some of the non-contenders and have maybe 3 or 4 guys in there, then we could talk about MOTYC. With all that talent in there, it takes away from the rest of the card and for what, about only 15 minutes and counting the entrances... Even though it is an high stakes match, with 8 guys, a match lasting 15 minutes is like... too short. Still, I prefer when there's less bodies in there, doesn't really sell the idea of who's gonna win before the match is over. This year's vote was obvious because of the fact that the last two winners were bound to have tremendous years and big pushes. Only Edge has had that kind of sucess for the whole year round. RVD got caught and Kennedy injured.
I liked the six man MITB, I think the only reason there were 8 at WM 23 was because they knew Edge was injured so they wanted to add more people to it because Edge had to leave the match early.
