Default Why didnt the mordecia GImmik work??
I think the MOrdecia gimmik was an amazing gimmick and could of worked amazing im just wondering why they made him come back as Kevin Thorn instead of Mordecai

I liked the Mordecai gimmick but I like the Kevin Thiorn gimmick better. It just has more entertainment value to it.

As Kevin Thorn he has a base. People don't like Kevin Thorn and boo him, while a small number find him cool and cheer him. Ariel helped that. As Mordecai, he was boring. His ring outfit was honestly ridiculous and he was basically the Undertaker dressed in white. He just didn't make a connection either way with the fans. That's why Mordecai failed.

This has been discused plenty of times before. Oh and it is Mordecai and gimmick for future refrence. I liked Mordecai better but I like Thorn as well.

Mordacai was doomed for failure from the get. I liked it but most wrestlers that have promos fail.

You mean promos to introduce the wrestler before they actually debut? I have to say you're sort of right when you look at a few guys on the Smackdown roster that failed over the past few years.

I dont think WWE knew how to book this character though.

his gimmick was ok but thorn is much better, the real problem as has already been stated was he never got booked right, scotty too hotty for you PPV debut.
