Future Saturday Night's Main Event Plans
Source: http://www.pwmania.com/newsarticle.php?page=183157563
After looking at how they did last week's Saturday Night Main Event's show, WWE is seriously considering strongly revamping the next show in August. Or at the very least, taping it from Madison Square Garden when Raw runs their show there on 8/13. The next SNME show is scheduled to air on 8/18.
Personally, I think they should just get rid of it altogether, however seeing as they have the contract with NBC, guess they can't just get rid of it. OK, you can't get rid of it. I believe they should leave the main stars off the show, and concentrate on the mid - low card talent that may not get regular or main PPV spots, and put them on the show. I would tune in to watch a bunch on mid-card athletes. I think they should do that as they should of relized by now that SNME is not as successful as what it used to be.

Re: Future Saturday Night's Main Event Plans
the only reason people watched the last one is because of the main eventers. take away the main eventers and most people would lose interest. i think the problem with it is that for the most part the matches don't have any build up and are just randomly put together. i think it should be used to help develop fueds which don't get enough attention on normal shows, like duece & domino vs londrick.

Re: Future Saturday Night's Main Event Plans
I thought SNME was the most entertaining non-payperview event in months. I think the ratings were bad (if they were I'm jsut guessing from the two previous posts) because overall interest is going down for the WWE and people no longer feel the need to watch wrestling on Saturday at 11:30 at night. Plus thats a pretty shitty time slot, it cuts out a couple of key demographics, college age people who arent sitting at home on a Sat night, and young people who go to bed before 1 am.

Re: Future Saturday Night's Main Event Plans
the last SNME was good in my opinion and thats because it had lower card wrestlers for example say next week they had a SNME they could use a card similar to this with a few lowercard wrestlers getting Tv time i belive this is what should happen at futurue SNME
IC championship- Venis Vs Marella
Edge and Henry Vs Batista and Lashley
MVP/Chavo/Umuga Vs Beniot/Yang/Kane
Cena & Hardys Vs Orton & Cade and Murdoch.

Re: Future Saturday Night's Main Event Plans
I think it's way tooo much trying to hype a SNME when you have PPV or two every month and the weekly RAW, SmackDown, and ECW TV shows. If a show like that doesn't have wonderful hype like a PPV would and on a time slot like that, well then you obviously won't have a lot of viewers. Saturday night is a bad night to put wrestling on and expect it to do well. Many people go out and do stuff. You can't expect people to stay home to watch a wrestling show that is poorly hyped and badly booked.

Re: Future Saturday Night's Main Event Plans
I'd like to see different matchups at SNME just for that one night because it isn't technically a PPV and the show is pretty fun to watch, especially when you get to see Hornswoggle being chased by Little Boogeyman and Doink the Clown just being his funny old self.

Re: Future Saturday Night's Main Event Plans
Viewing the last two shows, it's hard for myself to even care about them doing another. I haven't exactly liked any of them except for the one that had Michaels vs. Shane and Angle, Rey & Orton vs. Triple H & Cena. Then it started to turn into a mess.
