Great match with some sick spots and probably the best pinning maneuver ever. Considering what happens later, it was good to see WWE throw itself a freaking bone, plus it fit the whole "Dreamer fights his heart out, but always comes up short" thing.

John Cena vs. Rob Van Dam - ***1/2
Cena's entrance reminded me of the end of Braveheart where William Wallace is wheeled out to be executed (only without the crowd turning and suddenly pleading for him). I, personally, was cheering for WWE in the whole WWE vs. ECW thing, but it was still a good match and funny to see RVD win it and then screw up the best opportunity he's ever had merely weeks later.

Nah, not at all really. I felt you overrated the Eddie/Rey match just a bit, ***3/4 for me. Was kinda sloppy, Cena/Edge had just like one slip up and a weak chair shot. A very good match up.

But I also gave MITB I ****3/4.

I gave Eddie/Rey *** 1/2 - *** 3/4. Honestly, I though their GAB match was much better. Was that Rey's first Ladder Match?
