I personally think it's worth buying from a historical perspective. The matches aren't the greatest but there are a few hidden gems in the DVD. I mainly bought for historical purposes to have all of his legendary matches. If you're a fan of old school WWF and aren't bothered by watching a lot of average matches than I say go ahead and buy it.

I was thinking of picking up a dvd tomorrow... which dvd is better? the new hulk hogan dvd or the piper dvd? thanks!

The new hogan DVD has 2 seasons of hogan knows best filling space if your a fan of that you'll like it but if you like Hogan the wrestler don't bother.

I was wondering on the wwe anthology set do they show the video of how the wrestlers got thier, to their match.

I was wondering on the wwe WRESTLEMANIA Anthology do they show the pre-match videos, and what are some good quality dvd's from wwe that i could buy that had really good matches?

It's the same format as a regular WWE PPV, for instance if you have Wrestlemania XX on DVD and you get this compilation and ger Wrestlemania XX again it will be the exact same show (without all the extra bonus disc features like Hall of Fame ceremonies etc). The only thing left out is on several of the "Additude Era" years the WWF logo is blurred out.

They only blurred the Attitude Era logos and blocked out when they say WWF. However, the shows are the same. They do change the promos during the show though. For example, instead of "Next month at Backlash" it would be for a Cena DVD or something.

I honestly was wondering the same thing about the WrestleMania Anthology but the Tagged Classics they sell here in Europe, they still say WWF on them
