WAS AWESOME. Owen's commentary was fucking classic as he calls HBK a coward and he really probably thought that deep down being a Hart, as well as him standing on the table clapping for the Bulldog on his way to the ring.

I forget what I gave the match **** to **** 1/2, somewhere in there.

I like how Owen had his slammy award with him and it was funny seeing vince try to kayfabe-up HBK not being a coward and how the odds were against him in the match. Owens comments were indeed classic....."Bret was probably adopted." man i miss Mcmahon back when he was always trying to make everything seem kayfabe.

Good point as I actually think one of the reasons I much preferred their 1991 Saturday Night Main Event match was because Savage was on commentary being generally insane as usual. The no commentary for this match meant that you could hear DiBiase shouting "son of a bitch" though

Speaking of dodgy commentators, what did you think of Superstar Billy Graeme on commentary for the Harts/Demolition match from Summerslam (if you've watched it yet of course)? He seems to be channeling Hulk Hogan and Dusty Rhodes all at the same time lol.

That was who was on commentary? LMAO, I thought it was Dusty! And I can't stand Dusty on commentary

LOL, yeah that was Superstar. As soon as I posted that for you I KNEW you'd dislike the commentary. I watched the match twice tonight and the second time I just muted the dailymotion window and listened to music

-Raw 1999 (January either 4 weeks or one week at a time)
-Individual Set (Bret Hart)

Or would you like to see someone else first?

BTW, Bret-Dibiase *** 1/2, the commentary would have made it better but at the same time it was unique, like being there live.

Go for Bret's, man. I'd be interested in comparing ratings since I'm pretty much chronicaling his entire career.

Also looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Rey set when you get to that as I know a few of us on here have it as one of our favourites (you, Clique and myslef among others).

I haven't done it because of my big ass DVD Collection and I've been stuck reviewing DVD's daily since like September and am almost done.

Like I said beofre to Cal, Andy if you don't know, I'm rotating inbetween individual sets and Raw months...Cal's doing the same but he's doing 2000, then something else I imagine, I'm starting with 1999 then doing 2001.

After all the sets, after all the Raw's, the summerslam anthology should be out and then I'll do those 20 and i'll be all done.

I'm hoping to buy more PPV's in the mean time, perhaps some old WWF or NWA ones to review in the middle of all this incase I get bored. I love doing reviews!
