***1/2 for Canadian Stampede is incredibly harsh, atleast ****1/4 snd probably higher.

So you thought that the HHH/Orton Steel Cage match from JD was better than that legendary tag from Canadian Stampede? I just don't see how.

I think I still have 2 matches on there to watch lol. Not sure how I missed them, since I have watched the rest, and I think they are in the middle of some other matches. Much have not been in the mood for them or something lol.

It will be very interesting to see if you rate the 2 Flair/Steamboat matches and Flair/Funk 5 stars. Btw, get to watching that DVD immediatly!

Taroostyles, did you see WM24? What are your thoughts/ratings?

Personal preferance my friend.

I'll try disc 1 when I'm done with my weights in about half an hour. (Clique)

Undertaker vs. Vader - **
Hart Foundation vs. Team Austin - ***1/2

Overall Thoughts - Solid. I really liked the Japanese action (suprisingly for me) and HHH/Mankind. Taker/Vader was alright I guess but forgettable. Hart's vs. Austin's team was a fun match but it was hardly **** worthy imo.

Overall Rating - ***
What so surprising about a Great Sasuke match being awesome....? Right Andy. I guarantee if Sasuke would have stayed with WWF for a while he'd probably have about 6 clips in the "Please Don't Try This At Home" part of every WWE DVD. That guy is a crazy mofo, 2x broken skull during matches + continuing is my favorite.

Supposedly Lil' Taka and The Insane One himself had a MUCH better match the next night on RAW but i've never seen it myself.

Well I could live with your rating for the 10 man tag to be fair, but really so low on Vader/Taker? That match is at least a star higher, but bah whatever.

Yeah, RKO, get that shit watched right now now.

Anybody else besides McQueen and Keddedy seen Bob Backlund v Ken Patera from 5/19/80? It's the Texas Death Match. Thoughts?

EDIT: RKO, watch the Flair/Race match while doing the weights. That's what I did first time and since I think you said your not too familiar with the older wrestling, the much slower pace of that match could use something to keep you going at times .

And McQueen, Sasuke is ALWAYS awesome. What you said about the "Don't try this at home!" video is true, the guy would damn near have killed himself had he stayed a while longer. I guarentee it. Btw, I always preferred the Canadian Stampede match to their RAW match the next night. Both were geat though.

Thoughts besides Ken Patera being at least 1000x more effective as a heel than Chris Masters.

Indeed they did. I would give a rating for it, but it has been a while since I saw it and I don't have my Raw disc here with me.

Great Sasuke remains the only wrestler to ever have 2 ***** matches... on the same night..... one right after the other.... even if one is debateable due to a botch.

Yeah he rules.
