Overall Thoughts - Solid. I really liked the Japanese action (suprisingly for me) and HHH/Mankind. Taker/Vader was alright I guess but forgettable. Hart's vs. Austin's team was a fun match but it was hardly **** worthy imo.

I have Vader/Taker at **1/2, but like you said, it is pretty forgettable. That has to be the lowest rating I have ever seen for the main event. **** was the rating I gave it, but I can't see it being any higher myself, though some people have it as high as ****3/4.

Don't get me wrong it was a good solid match. I'm not going to go high on a match where there wasen't any point in the match where I thought there was a realistic pin cover with a chance of a 3. The ending was just so sudden. Austin's team just seemed so random also, the match told the story of Austin vs. Hart Foundation without mentioning anything about why the rest of them were in the match.

I'm not suprised people have gone as high as that though. Owen/Austin/Bret in any match normally results in ****+ being thrown at it. Also the wild crowd will probabaly have influenced many peoples ratings.

Well, I think I will do another review today. I have about 4 DVD's I haven't watched yet, but I really ain't in the mood for any of them just now lol. I might start on my Royal Rumble Anthology reviews, since I love the RR's, even if they are pretty bad .
