Yeah, I guess. I have seen some WWE DVD's out before they were scheduled, but not 3 weeks early. Either way, I hope you enjoyed it trip.

A few matches i just watch:


Triple H vs Mankind Kotr '97 - Man Foley and Triple had some feud going on back in '97 and also in '00. The match starts out slow with alot punches and kicks with Triple dominating most of the match. Towards the end of the match the action starts to pick up with Foley going through the announce table and Chyna getting involved. This was a great match for wrestling and brawling mixed into it. Great stuff here. *** 3/4

Triple H vs Owen Hart Wrestlemania 15 - An extremeley underrated match that no one seems to talk about. Its so good. Triple played a perfect heel in this match and Owen was the face. You had Chyna and Slaughter hancuffed to eachother which added to the match. It started off real fast then it slowed down. Triple started to work on Owens injured leg. There was alot holds and slow pace wrestling but towards the end of the match the pace picked up alot and it was amazing. Chyna hits Owen with a low blow to help Triple pick up the win at Mania. *** 1/2


Triple H vs Cactus Jack No Way Out '00 - Hell in a Cell - What a great feud these two men had in the beginning of '00. This was just coming off their classic street fight at the rumble a month before and they nearly topped it. This had a ton of emotion and physcology. There was amazing story telling in this match. The match starts off outside the ring with both men brawling it out. Triple hits Foley with the steel steps and also hits Foley with a chair while the steps where on top of Foley. Then Foley bust Triple wide open. Eventually Foley breaks through the side of the cell. Foley hits Triple with a piledriver on top of the announce table, hits him with barbed wire 2x4. Triple climbs to the top of the cell with Foley following him. While Foley climbing to the top of the cell Triple knocks him off and Foley goes through the other announce table and the place goes wild. The crowd goes even more nust after foley likes the 2x4 on fire. Foley has Triple up with i believe a piledriver when Tripe ends up flipping Foley through the top of the cell through the ring mat and the crowd was amazed. Trips ends up hitting Foley with a pedigree to win. Wow what a great match. CLASSIC. Story- telling at its finest and a great war between two men who truly hated eachother. Not the best Hiac match ever but top 3 just behind Hbk/Taker & Taker/Lesnar.

Mike Awesome vs Masato Tanaka One Night Stand '05 - One word WOW !. Even though i haven't much of either mans work this has quickly become of my top 10 or 15 matches of all-time. This is the best use of tables and chairs i think i've ever seen. Awesome powerbombs Tanaka through a table and i thought Tanaka broke his freakin neck. The crowd was absolutley electric. Tanaka also hit a tornado ddt on Awesome through a table ! The match end with Awesome like powerbombing Tanaka over the top rope through the table and then dove through the rope to cover Tanaka to pick up the victory. Jesus Christ ! these men but their bodies on the line and stole the damn show. **** 1/4

Benoit vs Kurt Angle from rumble 03 is a awesome match. I think that PPV alone is worth buying just for this one match. The very best match Kurt & Benoit ever had together.

Not sure if it is good as WM13 well I can not decide but dam good.

Nice review, Lou. The only match I've seen out of those is the Hell in a Cell. I have it as ****3/4, same rating I gave their Street Fight. I think the Street Fight is a little better, but it's close.

Wrestlemania 13 itself it quite good Rumble 03 not so great only due to the Benoit / Kurt match.

I mean at rumble 03 they took it to a new level nd it was like a Wrestlemania type main event at the RR03. Benoit is not respected like he once was but the match is one mega hit. Every fan would enjoy it.

I would show that match to new fans to get them hooked into wrestling.

Many people do, but I thought the bulk of the match was incredible enough that it deserved the full 5*. I've often waivered between giving it ****3/4 and *****. Match I've seen about 15 times, and I'm still indecisive. When I'm indecisive I usually go with generosity and give it the higher of the two ratings.
