Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
While were on tag matches, everyone should got out of there way to see these 3 ECW Tag matches.
RVD/Sabu vs The Eliminators-November 2 Remember 1996
RVD/Sabu vs The Eliminators-Tables/Ladders Match-Cyberslam 1997
Tajiri/Mikey Whipwreck vs Super Crazy/Kid Kash-Massacre On 34th Street 2000
There all atleast ****1/4 IMO and probably higher. 3 of my favorite ECW matches of all time. Probably hard as hell to find, but if you ever come across them definitely take the chance to see them. I know there's a RVD/Sabu vs The Eliminators match on the RVD DVD, but I'm pretty sure it's not one of those matches.

Thanks for the tip. Never heard of any of them, but I'll look. Rockers/Brainbusters 2/3 Falls from Saturday Night's Main Event is a match that rarely gets talked about but is really awesome.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Yeah no prob, considering the talent in that Rockers/Brainbusters Match I'm sure it's pretty awesome.
I just checked the DVD Star Ratings thing and Clique's review says the match on the RVD set is from Crossing The Line Again 97, so it isn't either of the ones I mentioned.(He gave that ***1/2, so if you've seen that match then you know they are capable of greatness)
The N2R match is a 30 minute time limit draw and the Cyberslam match is like a TLC match before there were TLC matches, very ahead of it's time.
The other match, is just pure awesome. It happened at the Hammerstein and the crowd is wild, there's one sequence between Crazy and Tajiri that almost makes me jump out of my chair even to this day.(And they've had alot of good ones)

I marked for Austin leaving HBK alone to get his ass whipped.

As long as there's drama right before they cut to commercials, I usually don't mind them on TV matches. Like a babyface getting the hell beat out of him when they go commercial, then when they come back the crowd is going nuts and he's getting the upperhand.

I just remember wishing Stone Cold had finished off the match, that's all. It was a good story, but still the match in general wasn't great enough to give much more than ****1/2.

Seriously one of the best moments of Raw that year. Just fit his character so well.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
WWE Judgment Day 2007
Ric Flair vs. Carlito - **1/2
Lashley vs. McMahons & Umaga - *1/4
CM Punk vs. Elijah Burke - ***1/4
Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton - *
Hardy Boyz vs. Cade & Murdoch - **3/4
Batista vs. Edge - **1/4
Chris Benoit vs. MVP - ***
John Cena vs. Great Khali - *3/4
Overall Thoughts - Fun show, nothing too great, nothing too horrible. With JD08 tomorrow night I did my regualar year before watch and tbh this PPV had it's highs and lows and was average for the most part. Alot of people had high hopes for this PPV with Michaels/Orton and Edge/Batista but they were left disappointed. I thought Orton/HBK was fine for a match that was designed to write off HBK, although you could understand fans before the PPV expecting alot more. I really liked Punk/Burke, just a shame the fans didn't. Benoit/MVP imo is really underrated and I really enjoyed the match and thought it was up there with the others in there series. I wasen't interested in Cena/Khali and I was right not to be, pretty mediocre contest but they got the fans into it, which was a challange judging by there awful reactions to the to best matches of the night 'JBL' chants and 'This is boring' chant were really uneccesary.
Overall Rating - **3/4

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Just got done seeing Edge/Taker at Backlash 08. I'd give it a ***2/4
I'd give it higher but the match seemed short compared to their Wrestlemania match(makes sense). The finish was nice though, and seeing blood drippin out of Edge's nose and mouth was sickness on a level you rarely see in WWE anymore.(or TV pro wrestling for that matter.)

***2/4? You can just call that ***1/2.
