Does anyone else rate matches with eighths? or is it just Troy here, either way it's bloody hilarious!
|
Either way, its confusing and annoying, as his ratings are in general.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
I just realised, I have NEVER seen Judgment Day 2005, or any match from the show. I stopped watching smackdown for a few months in 2005, and I didn't see any of the PPV's either. I have since downloaded the shows and PPV's, but somehow missed out JD. I wish I could download here...

I think 3-8's is his way of saying ****1/4-****1/2 although I'm not sure.
Cal, Judgment Day is a fun show. Better than 03, 04, 06 & 07 IMO.

I was at that show live and i've never seen it on DVD form but for the most part (this is excluding the absolutely horrible drivel that was Heidenreich vs Orlando Jordan) it wasa pretty fun show. Eddie/Rey was good times and the Cena/JBL "I Quit" was really awesome to watch live and I heard it held up great on DVD. Some people complained about the finish to that match but I thought it held up perfectly with JBL's character.

A full half a star better then Umaga/Cena IMO, and this one is **** 1/4 for me.

Umaga/Cena was awesome I thought. Psychology wise it's better than JBL/Cena, but they're both **** 1/2 for me.

Mick Foley vs. Terry Funk (Raw 1998) - ****
The match was pretty crazy by 1998 standards. The match was tons of fun to watch and definitely ranks up their as one of my favorite Raw matches ever. Pretty amazing that Funk was 53 when this match happened and 10 years later he's still going. I could see myself bumping the rating up 1/4* on a re-watch but right now I'll keep it at ****. If you haven't seen the match definitely go out of your way to.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Is it the one where Funk does a moonsault off the balcony? I have it at ***3/4
Austin's commentary made the match.

That because Funk is better than everyone -Mystery-.
No one is more engrossing to watch than the Funker, for real.

Goddamn right. Funk is just simply put amazing. I mean there really isn't much to it than that. It's ashame that Funk doesn't get as much praise as he deserve. I mean if anyone is deserving of a HOF spot, it's the Funker.
I'm getting ready to watch the Foley/Funk match from Japan.
