Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Kinda' missed the whole wrestling thing in 2001. I've never even seen that event even though Jericho himself mentions it up in every other promo.
But his other victory never ever happened, and don't forget that.

Did you not watch wrestling at all in 2001? It was a great year.

Yeah you basically missed the Best of Austin comedy wise, and match wise really.
(Besides 96-97 that is...for promos and matches I mean)

Tomorrow, my Tombstone set should finally arrive in my mailbox. I hate the wait.

Yeah, the wait really sucks. I've been waiting for From The Vault for almost two weeks now.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Well I started watching Heat in early 2000 up until Channel 4 moved it to like 3am and I didn't have the sense or passion to record it. At the time my Dad recorded Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Backlash and Invasion and I watched those and I remember an episode of Heat where Big Show faced Billy Gunn in a Hardcore match, about May time. That's about it up until we got Sky Sports just in time for the Raw before Wrestlemania X8.
So basically I missed a great year of wrestling and one I hope to catch up on sometime soon. I think a few months worth of Raw's are in the media section but I'd rather start at January and go through the PPV's again aswell because it's ages since I've seen some of them. I've still got the remainder of 1998 and all of 1999 and 2000 to go through first though.
Looking back now 2002 was also an awesome year in terms of roster, Raw in general and some of the matches on Smackdown, especially late 2002. The PPV's were kinda' passable up until about Jugdment Day but after that they had an amazing run.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
I'm thinking of picking up either Shawns Heartbreak & Triumph DVD or Triple H's King of Kings DVD.
Going through the matches I've seen the majority on either, numerous times. Do the documentaries stand out?
Which would you guys go with?

The HBK documentary is a thing of beauty, if I say so myself.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
I for the life of me can't understand the HBK documentary praise? There has been far better, it was pretty good but why so much love? They're screwjob talk was a bunch of bullshit by the way but I'm not going to go into that.
It depends on what matches you don't already own, get whatever you don't own as much of as both sets are good.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Screwjob-talk would really take us too far.
But personally, I really really enjoyed the documentary on the HBK dvd.
