Well, just from memory: I remember the psychology being laughably bad. The guy with the bad leg (Triple H) worked the leg of the guy with the bad back (HBK). I've just never been able to understand it. Triple H was hurt to the point where he was limping noticeably during the match, and Shawn works his BACK? Jerry Lawler even questioned it. Then you have HBK, who was out of wrestling for years with a back injury, and Hunter works his LEG for most of the match. And Shawn stopped selling that leg for the most part by the end of the match anyway, but that's besides the point.
The Street Fight itself could of been a lot better as well. They spent like 10 minutes building up to a Figure Four leg lock. Which I found pretty stupid, considering it's a "street fight". And it lasted close to 25 minutes from what I remember, dragging badly, and sloppy during some points.
The cage match wasn't as terrible as the first fall, but it wasn't great either. Really slow, and there was no build at all for the finish(Shawn splashing him through the table).
Then there was the worst ladder match I've ever seen. Like 5 minutes long? Ugh. They still managed to get in slow climbing within those 5 minutes, something I hate in ladder matches.
So, Triple H wins the title again. Why? He was injured, but they still decided to put the title back on him? I mean, since he jobbed to HBK clean at Survivor Series (shocker), Shawn couldn't of jobbed to a younger guy, like RVD or Booker, and saved HHH the trouble of doing it himself?
I just can't stand the match. Might even lower the rating. 1/2* of my original rating was for Flair taking a bump for Earl Hebner anyway.
If you watch this match back to back with Austin/Hunter 3 Stages of Hell you'll notice how bad this one really is.
