i'm wondering if anyone can answer a question for me...

When was the last time John Cena was PINNED in a PPV match? I honestly can't remember.

The emotion of the Flair/HBK match is *****, but the actual match itself is around **** and ****1/4 in my opinion. In the Mania thread i think i was talking about giving it ****1/2 but i can't do it. I've never felt emotion like that watching a match, but it doesn't mean i can give it a perfect rating because it wasn't a perfect match.

Everything about this match made it great. The story-telling, the psychology etc. all contributed to making this match great.

As i said before, this match had everything.

Last time Cena was pinned on PPV would probably be ONS '06.

edit - nvm, it was Summerslam. Edge pinned him after brass knucks I believe.

A match just isn't about holds and moves. It has to tell a story. HBK/Flair was a wrestling work of art.

Thought you meant the story behind the match ie. why it was taking place.

Nah. The match was amazing. I'm pretty sure it was far more than a few chops.

If that match wasn't worthy of ***** i wouldn't give it *****. That match was worthy of *****, as i've said lots of times, it was pretty much the perfect match, there's not much more you could ask for.
