^Glad you included GAB '89, such an absolutely brilliant PPV, the best of all-time, IMO.

Steamboat/Luger- ****3/4
Sting/Muta- ****
WarGames- **** (Not as good as '91 0r '92 though)
1989 was probably the greatest year of all time, wrestling wise.

Matches like Undertaker/HHH confuse me. Whilst the wrestling isn't the best the entertainment and excitment of the match is their yet all it seems to get is ***.

Wow, the GAB 89 sounds awesome. Might have to get hold of it!
Edit:
Taker/Kane/Benoit/Rock was a pretty decent match, though nothing special. From what I remember of the match it was around the *** - ***1/2 mark, but I haven't seen it in years.

The chokeslam off the scaffholding in the Undertaker vs. Triple H match was absolutelly pathetic. It kinda' put a bit of a downer on the match which is a shame becuase I really enjoyed it as a whole although the ending was a little predictable.
I hate that kind of ending in Undertaker matches.

The match where Undertaker tried to run someone over and Benoit won but the match was restarted? Watched it when I was about 10. |

The chokeslam looked awesome when it happened, but once it showed where Triple H actually fell... it did ruin it a bit lol. That ending is annoying these days, but back then I think it was actually the first time he had ended a match like that.
