Anyone want to review Foley's DVD for me? (hits & misses)

Here you go:

Cactus Jack vs. Vader- This match is brutal, brutal, and more brutal. Basically the WCW booker wanted Vader to bust Cactus open hardway (without blading) so the whole match was Vader wailing on Cactus with real, seriously hard punches. It wasn't that great of a wrestling match but it was some of the most brutal punching I've ever seen.

Rating- **1/2

Cactus/Maxx Payne vs. Nasty Boys- This match is an excellent hardcore style brawl and one of my favorites. The stuff they were doing in this match was WAY ahead of their time. It still looks brutal today.

Rating- *** 3/4

Cactus Jack vs. Sabu- A decent match that didn't really live up to its hype. It was Micks first ECW match and was ment to be a dream match. It was kind of a let down but still a solid hardcore match. The promo that comes with it is gold.

Rating- ***

Cactus Jack vs. Chris Candino- Not really sure why this one is on here. It was decent for a TV match but nothing special.

Rating- **

Cactus Jack vs. The Sandman- Sandman gets a bad concussion early on and is out of it the rest of the match. The match itself is brutal but not that great considering Sandman is knocked out on his feet basically.

Rating- **

Funk/Dreamer vs. Cactus/Raven- Just your average ECW style brawl here. You see all your hardcore spots but the finish isnt that great.

Rating- **1/2

Cactus Jack vs. Mikey Whipwreck- A great match. This is Cactus' last match in ECW and it has it all. It has tons of emotion and is a great hardcore match. The reaction that he gets from the fans is great.

Rating- ***3/4

The DVD really picks up from here...

Shawn Michaels vs. Mankind- Classic, Classic match and one of my favs. The whole match is just great with some really innovative stuff. The only letdown is the end of the match. Look for an awesome spot right before the end.

Rating- ****1/2

Cactus Jack vs. HHH- This is Cactus' first match in the WWF and the moment is better than the match. I just love the promo before hand but the match is really good far a RAW match.

Rating- ***

Mick Foley vs. Terry Funk- Another excellent RAW match. These two work very well together and put on a hell of a match for regular TV. How come we never see matches like this on RAW now?

Rating- ***3/4

Stone Cold vs. Dude Love- Both men were nursing injuries here but managed to put on a great show. This is right after SCSA won the title so he is red hot here. Great match.

Rating- ****

Mankind vs. Undertaker HIAC- We've all seen this one. I think its a brutal and memorable match and it was more than two spots like some people say.

Rating- ****1/4

The Rock vs. Mankind- Another match that is more about the moment then the match. This is still the loudest pop I've ever heard and once again a great match for being on RAW.

Rating- ***

Triple H vs. Cactus Jack- My favorite on the whole DVD and a classic the whole way through. This is one of my favorites of all time and was a great way for Mick to go out on top (too bad he it took him two more months to retire but oh well).

Rating- *****

Extras- Some of Micks best promos as well as a ****1/2 match with Sting. Great extras all around.

Overall- This is an excellent DVD and is a must own if you are a fan of Foley like I am.

A bit of detail if you dont mind, maybe 2 or 3 sentences on each match would be great.

For the last match on the Foley DVD, is it the Street Fight or the Hell in a Cell? I personally thought the Street Fight was better. That match is probably one of my all time favorites. Mick put on a hell of a show, and IMO it was the match that put Triple H on the map.

Its the Street Fight, which is way better than the HIAC in my opinion.

Oh hell yes! I agree. Like I said, that match put Triple H on the map. It helped him win WOTY in 2000.

That feud put Triple H on the map. I would go as far to say that he wouldn't be as big as he is today if it wasn't for Mick Foley.

Yeah I agree.....I just wish the HIAC was on something because I feel like the Street Fight was realeased a couple times.....I know it's on History of the WWE Title DVD.....I wish I could get that HIAC on DVD somewhere.

That is true. They couldn't put two matches from the same feud though. Maybe a best of Hell in a Cell DVD in the future?

That would be an amazing idea....they wouldnt even need to pick and choose, there have been like what? 15 HIAC matches....they could just put them all on.
