I actually thought the Invasion PPV was better than Survivor Series, but yeah, both are decent purchases.

Yer, i agree, but i'd buy SS just for the mainevent, and the history within that match.

InVasion mildly sucked IMO. ALOT of the matches were very average. RVD vs Jeff Hardy saved the PPV (Who 'da thunk it!?)

SS was bad.

Survivor Series I found was maybe the most disappointing of the PPV's during the Invasion angle, quite the let down.

To be honest WM 22 has to be the best buy its over 8 hours long and includes an exra PPV (SNME) The PPV are v.good IMO

Or...

You could wait for WM 23 3 disc edition which i cant wait to get. The PPV is shaping up good, I should imagine one cd would be the HOF but the 3rd remains a mystery so far...

Unforgiven and Summerslam were my 2 favorite PPV's from the Invasion angle. Matches like RVD Vs Jericho at Unforgiven, Angle v Austin on both and the like made both PPV's very good

Meh, maybe it's just because I had such low expectations for the angle by the time it hit Survivor Series that I was pleasantly surprised with the main event. I really don't remember much of the rest of the show though.

I thought Invasion was okay though. All the matches were pretty decent. The Alliance angle didn't really suck that bad up until this point either. Best thing about it is still Hebner's spear takedown on Nick P. Surely that's worth the price of the DVD alone. Goldberg would have been proud of that one.

I marked for that spear. Earl Hebner wouldn't need to do Goldberg proud though, Earl Hebner is better in the ring than Goldberg.

I agree.The show was preety bad besides the Main Event.I thought Invasion was decent,but very disappointing for the first ever PPV with ECW/WCW/WWF all on the same show.

The best PPV's during the Invasion era:

Summerslam- Great show from top to bottom matches like Edge/Storm,RVD/Hardy (Ladder match),Jericho/Rhyno,and Austin/Angle make this one of the best Summerslams ever.

Unforgiven-Great hardcore match with Jericho/RVD,Edge,and Christian had a very solid IC Title match,a preety good opener in the 4 team elimination match,and of course Austin/Angle 2.

No Mercy-Not a bad match on the card,you even get a surprsingly good Test/Kane match,a very good Edge/Christian ladder match,and a very good triple threat Main Event with Austin/Angle/RVD.

The 3rd disc will be the HOF, Wrestlemanias usually take 2 discs to cover the event. Thats how the last 3 WM dvds were made.
