Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
I don't buy a lot of WWE DVDs but I am looking to buy a PPV DVD. I want to buy one that I could watch over and over again with lots of quality match. So what DVD would you say has the best matches and bonus features?
Thanks, rep will be added.

Any DVD between Royal Rumble 2000 and Wrestlemania 18. They may not have the best extras, but the shows are all worth watching.

One Night Stand 2005 is pretty sweet in every way, match quality, promos, segments, nostalgia, etc.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Wrestlemania 17 is the best quality PPV ever, so i'd go for that, and maybe:
Wrestlemania 19
Wrestlemania 20
Wrestlemania 22
Royal Rumble 2000
Summerslam 2002
Surivor Series 2002
Vengeance 2005
Unforgiven 2006
ECW ONS 1& 2
They are the best PPV's from the last few years IMO.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
SummerSlam 2000 would be the best buy you could get, but it wasn't on DVD so I'll go with Ste and say WMX7 and Spartanlax with ECW ONS

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Actually i forgot about Summerslam 2000 thanks Ben
I'd also get Survivor Series 2001, for the WWE vs WCW/ECW Match.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
It is? I have it on VHS but wasn't aware of a DVD release. I might have to invest in that considering my tape is shitty quality now.
In which case, that should be the one you buy, bartman.
SS 01, is a bit of a meh for me. But hell. It has a great ME.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
I actually thought the Invasion PPV was better than Survivor Series, but yeah, both are decent purchases.
I've been contemplating whether to buy the Royal Rumble Anthology DVD Set. I was wondering if anybody had it. If so, can you tell me if there are any extras? I've heard negative things about how much censoring their is of the WWF logo and name. Is it really that bad that it affects your enjoyment of the shows?
