As far as I am concerned, star ratings are really just an opinion and usually there is no right/wrong answer. Some people watch matches differently than others and look for certain things.

Certain matches most people can come to a consensus on if they are really that good, but other matches can easily be disputed over a 1/4 or 1/2 * depending on that person's preference.

Yeah that's basically it.

I hate when people quote someone and say "Actually that match was so and so" as if it was a matter of fact.

I'll only do that if the person terribly overrates or terrible underrates something.

Yea it's worth it for $20 the documentary which I didn't speak on is damn good as well on par with the Four Horseman one from earlier this year.

It's different because if it's way off then there's a legitimate reason to question the rating and debate over it. If it's just over a 1/2 *, or 1/4 then it doesen't really matter.

It's way off to you, it's terribly overrated/underrated to you. Doesn't matter whether it's different by one star or four, it's a matter of opinion.

That aside, I don't buy that anyway. I've seen several posts from present parties which have been rather uppity over a half star.

yeah like some people give HBK/Hart Ironman **** 1/2 and some give it **** 3/4. Rating or no rating, it was a phenomenal match. Some people get angry at personal opinion's on match ratings. If I say a match is 5 stars I mean it and no one else's opinion will change it.
