But this Raw set...there's no excuse for this. Bret Hart alone on Raw is reason enough to put in some 94-96 matches instead of So many terrible Cena matches.
Then there's the fact they didn't include SOME GREAT work from 98-2001 (attitude era) and that just makes me completely pissed off.
I'm not getting this DVD, no fucking way. I already own the complete Raw's from 99 and 2001 and a lot of the more popular segments in Raw history are already on the Monday Night Wars DVD.
But if they don't include some GREAT Austin matches on his DVD then I'll be really pissed. My biggest beef with the Austin one though will likely be that I already own the bulk of his important matches. (VS BRET, vs HBK KOTR 97) and a ton of other Wrestlemania and Royal Rumble matches where he was stellar.
It would be great if they added in him vs steamboat, some hollywood blondes work (that isn't already on the pillman dvd) and some rare matches from 1997, 1998 and 1999. Not to mention they should have a lot of his heel run on there (unfortunately no Benoit which cuts out at least 3-4 good matches)
I'd like to see something like this.....
Stone Cold Steve Austin's Life and Legacy:
Disc 1
-90 minute biography (we've already seen a lot of bio's on Steve outside the ring so they could just make this all of his career and his rise to the top of the business)
-3 Hollywood Blondes matches from the early-mid 90's WCW
-Austin vs Steamboat -WCW 1994
-Austin vs Savio Vega -Carribean Strap Match IYH 96
-Austin vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley -WWF Buried Alive 96
-Austin vs Bret Hart -Survivor Series 1996
-Austin vs Bret Hart vs Vader vs The Undertaker -Final Four 97
-Austin vs Bret Hart -Revenge of the taker
-Austin vs HBK KOTR 97
Disc 2
-Clips of Austin's 97, 98 and 2001 Rumble wins.
-Clips of the ten man tag -IYH Canadian Stampede.
-Austin vs Brian Pillman -Raw 1997
-Austin and HBK vs Bulldog and Owen -Raw 1997
-Austin vs Owen Hart -Summerslam 97
-Steve Austin vs The Rock -Degeneration X In Your House 97
-8 man tag from No Way Out 1998
-Steve Austin vs HBK -Wrestlemania 14
-Steve Austin vs Dude Love -Over The Edge 98 (or Unforgiven 98 seeing as they already have OTE on Foley's DVD)
-Steve Austin vs Kane -Raw 1998 (or the one from KOTR 98)
-Steve Austin vs The Undertaker -Summerslam 98
-Steve Austin vs Vince McMahon -St Valentines Day Massacre 99
Disc 3
-Clips of Austin vs The Rock from Wrestlemania 15
-Steve Austin vs The Rock -Backlash 99
-Steve Austin vs The Undertaker -Raw June 99
-Steve Austin vs Mankind vs Triple H -Summerslam 99
-Steve Austin vs Triple H -No Mercy 99
-Steve Austin vs Triple H -Survivor Series 2000
-Steve Austin vs Triple H -No Way Out 2001
-Steve Austin vs The Rock -Wrestlemania 17
-Steve Austin/Triple H vs Taker and Kane -Backlash 2001
-Steve Austin vs Kurt Angle -Summerslam 2001 (and clips of Unforgiven 01)
-Steve Austin vs RVD vs Kurt Angle -No Mercy 01
-Steve Austin vs Chris Jericho -Cage Match Raw 2002
-Clips of the 8 man tag from Invasion 01
-Clips of the ten man tag from Survivor Series 2001
-Steve Austin vs The Rock -Wrestlemania 19
Extras:
-Austin's returns at Backlash 2000, Unforgiven 2000, No Way Out 2003 (The Raw after Unforgiven 2000, The Raw two weeks after No Way out 2003)
-20-30 segments of Austin-McMahon over the years.
-Austin's classic promo's in ECW, Early WWF that got him big among others.
etc, etc... (Yes, I realize that is probably way to much for just 3 discs and this was off the top of my head I could be forgetting a lot)
(I would also have named Benoit vs Austin from Raw 2000, Benoit/Jericho vs Austin and HHH on Raw in 2001, Austin vs Benoit from SD 2001 and KOTR Austin vs Jericho vs Benoit here, but all unlikely now)

How are they fitting 30 matches, a 90 minute biography, 20-30 Vince/Austin segments and other various clips on a 3 disc set?

The matches can't possibly all be in full.

That's just his (Austin101's) opinion.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
If you read my post I stated "SOMETHING" like this....and then at the end I even said that they obvioussly couldn't fit all of that in. I just threw together off the top of my head some of his best or more important work.
In my opinion they should leave out what most of us already own but they probably will not due to the significance of the matches. (Austin's Mania matches for example.)
Either way it'll be interesting to see what they go with. But if that Raw match listing is any indication of what we're going to see on Austin's DVD then I'm worried.
Steve himself should get to pick out all the matches like Bret Hart did.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
I have got around £150 left over from Christmas money so I am in need of some WWE DVD's, I don't really have many so could you please list some, I'm thinking about getting volume 3 of the royal rumble anthology which is £30.
So give me a list of great DVD's please.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Like I said, if they get Survivor Series '96, WM 13, NWO '01, Summerslam '01, Canadian Stampede, and some WCW material I'll be happy.

Like what exactly are you looking for? The list would be way too long if I just started listing great DVDs...
