Thanks but I think it might be quite hard to find 01 & 02 on dvd. I also want this volume as it has most of the rumbles from the Attiude era' and it comes in a nice box, so when I get volume 2 or 4 they will look nice together
What volume would you say is the best in your opinion? I'm not really a fan of old wrestling so I may give the first volume a miss but other than that the other three volumes look good. What order would you put them in, best to worst?

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
The biggest issue I have is that almost half the matches have been on DVD already.
Quote:
|
- First RAW Main Event: Undertaker vs. Damien Demento - January 11, 1993
|
Already on RAW X DVD
Quote:
|
- WWE Championship: Mankind vs. The Rock (c) - January 4, 1999
|
Already on Best of RAW Vol. 1 & 2 and Foley's Greatest Hits and Misses DVD
Quote:
|
- World Tag Team Championship TLC Match: Bubba/Spike Dudley vs. Chris Jericho/Christian vs. Rob Van Dam/Jeff Hardy vs. Kane/The Hurricane (c) - October 7, 2002
|
Already on the RAW X DVD and the Ladder Match DVD
Quote:
|
- World Heavyweight Championship: Ric Flair vs. Triple H (c) - May 19, 2003
|
Already on Flair's DVD and is semi-worthless without the after match stuff.

|
- WWE Championship TLC Match: Edge (c) vs. Ric Flair - January 16, 2006
|
Already on the Ladder Match DVD
Quote:
|
- Street Fight: DX vs. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch - October 9, 2006
|
Already on the New DX 3-disc DVD

- No Disqualification Match: John Cena vs. Kevin Federline - January 1, 2007
|
Already on the New Year's Revolution 2007 DVD

- World Tag Team Championship:John Cena & Shawn Michaels vs. Rated RKO (c) - January 29, 2007
|
Already on the Royal Rumble 2007 DVD
Quote:

- WrestleMania 23 Rematch: John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels - April 23, 2007
|
Already on HBK's just released DVD
As long as they load it with some great segments, I'll pick it up. I'll also pick it up for some of the matches too.

What DVD is that, the Raw one? If so that sums up WWE's DVDs these days, totally disappointing.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
The Raw dvd looks okay, but it could have been better. There's too much bad matches like Cena/Bischoff, Cena/Federline, Cena/Khali/Umaga and DX/Cade and Murdoch. There's some great matches though, the ladder matches, Flair/Perfect, Cena/HBK. Alot of these matches are on other dvds though, there should be some stuff from 94-96, I haven't seen alot of tv matches from back then and this didn't help.

Yeah, that's about half the match listing of the new RAW one. The full listing is posted about two pages back. One major problem is that there are no matches from 2000-2001, and only 3 from 1998-1999, essentially leaving out the best of Austin and Rock, while Cena gets 6 matches. Now I've got nothing against Cena, but on a DVD showcasing the best of your program over 15 years, one guy who has only been on the show for 2 years should not dominate the match listing.

And it's not like most those matches are even worth the money. If they wanted to put Cena matches on here they should have just put Edge/Cena/RVD and Y2J/Cena. The other ones don't deserve to be on here. HBK/Cena as said before just came out on Shawn's DVD. Makes no sense.
WWE really must think Cena is bigger than everyone in WWE history. He gets the most matches and center of cover with Rock, Austin, HBK, HHH and Bret behind him. He probably will get alot of segments too.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
The match listing for the Raw dvd does look dissapointing tbh, I was looking forward to mainly 96-01 matches not a load of Cena matches, why is Cena/K-Fed there as well *sighs*. Oh well maybe it will have a kick ass documentary hilighting the greatest moments.

Re: Official WWE DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
It makes me think they've hopefully got a fucking huge epic Attitude Era DVD in the works, but judging by their current DVD output it would suck balls and they'd fuck it anyways.
