Speculation On Change To Brock Lesnar's WrestleMania Plans

As seen on RAW this past Monday night, Roman Reigns challenged the winner of the Samoa Joe vs. Brock Lesnar WWE Universal Championship bout to a title match at SummerSlam. We've mentioned that the plan for the main event for SummerSlam was for Lesnar to defend the WWE Universal Championship against Braun Strowman.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Strowman vs. Lesnar for the title was still the plan as late as two weeks ago. Meltzer noted that if the plans changed, it could be because of the recent low ratings, with the idea being that Lesnar's limited schedule while holding the title could be hurting them. The original plan was for Lesnar to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, with Lesnar defending the title against Seth Rollins and Finn Balor before then.

I dont see the speculation, meltzer doesnt know and simply is giving reason as to why they mightve changed as if someone asked him about such change and was just giving his view as to why but he himself knows nothing of such a change in plans.

as of 2 weeks ago the plan is still the same going from this. Lesnar is losing at mania, whoever he faces, so in all honesty it doesnt even matter that much, strowman would just be more interesting than reigns.

Do they realize their Universal Title has less credibility to it than their IC Title?

I honestly fell like their best bet is have Roman vs Braun be a #1 contenders match for Summerslam. Roman wins , Brock beats Samoa Joe

At Summerslam Roman wins Universal Title and turns heel!!!! It turns out in his title match for Wrestlemania if Brock were to defeat Goldberg he'd win the title however once he lost the title he'd be unable to challenge again for the title .

With this Brock leaves until Janruary where he announces he's going to be in the Rumble .

He gets screwed out of the Rumble victory , and gets put in a suicide sixway , which he finally wins !!!

However Roman gloats Brock into putting his career on the line.
Roman beats Brock and he retires .

We've seen this playbook before with The Rock. WWE certainly enjoys cross over celebrity/movie/wrestling stars but when they become flaky it's time to write them out of the script. Unless Lesnar fully commits Vince is going to treat him like a stepping stone. I bet Vince starts upping the anty and having people die again like when they hanged Sgt. Slaughter. Time to bust out the samurai swords haha
