If The Rock has one last match, who should it be against?

I would like to see Rock/HHH one last time. It was one of the defining feuds of the Attitude Era

Wanted to see the Brock match 4 years ago, but it didn't happen and I haven't been interested in seeing it since.

I'd like to see The Rock vs Chris Jericho. The promos during their build-up would be good, and their match may have the potential to be decent.

The Marahaja Jinder Mahal. At some point he morphs into a Samoan after admitting he's not from India. Triple threat between Roman, Rock, and Jinder in a Battle of Smoa match.

I didn't think of that, but I love it!

But a year after Roman beats Rock, so Ambrose beating Roman would be a better catalyst for their feud.

Rock vs Cena would make a great deal of sense due to it being the decider.

But Rock vs Reigns would be the big match to see off the people's champ.
This would be a fun way to do it:

2018: Roman vs Brock (The Rock interferes?!)

2019: The Rock vs Roman Reigns (Roman the winner)

2020: The Rock vs John Cena III (Cena wins the feud, retiring the Rock)

2021: Roman Reigns vs John Cena (after Cena retired Rock, Roman retired Undertaker, and both have beaten the Rock).

2022: Only then do we finally get a conclusion to Roman vs Brock lol.

2023: CM Punk comes back and whinges about Roman headlining 9 Wrestlemanias in a row, so Roman Reigns vs CM Punk headlines and Roman squashes him to headline 10 in a row.

Triple H.

Facing Brock would make bank but seeing Brock suplex Rock out the door just wouldn't be worth it. Even if Lesnar did more than just suplexes, I still would go with Triple H as Rock's final opponent.

I'm one of those guys that prefers a wrestler going out to his greatest rival or one of his greatest rivals, giving that person's final match more meaning, historically. I really don't care about somebody putting over a younger guy on his way out, it's not always a guarantee that it's gonna do wonders for the younger opponent (ex. Roman vs. Taker) and they could always find another way to get the younger guy over without him retiring a legend.

Not only do Rock and Triple H have the history and meaning but you could also build the match as an "End Of An Era". I know it's cliché at this point and they've already done that but the Attitude Era is so beloved, it might get some AE fans who stopped watching to tune in to watch that match and unlike Taker vs. Triple H, it truly would be an actual "End Of An Era" match as The Rock vs. Triple H was one of the defining feuds of the AE and The Rock was one of the top dogs in the AE along with Austin, so we say goodbye to one of the guys who ruled the Attitude Era. I feel they only added the "End Of An Era" title to Taker vs. Triple H to make it seem more special when it really wasn't though it obviously ended up being a hell of a match (no pun intended) but both guys continued wrestling after.

All Lesnar vs. Rock has going for it is just money but it doesn't have the same history and meaning as Triple H vs. Rock. Plus Rock's retirement alone would sell Rock vs. Triple H money-wise along with the "End Of An Era" thing.

But knowing Vince, he'll go with Roman as Rock's last ever opponent :reigns2

Batistas a fresh feud, easy to build because of their hollywood careers, easy face heel dynamic, both probably looking for one last feud so can sell on double retirement

prints money imo

if they could get them to work it from survivors series to mania and put on compelling tv with everyone else at that point its one of the last possible ways to bring fans back or new to the e

worth it imo

I aint all that bothered about seeing rock wrestle again tbh.

if he does, I want to see him go up against ambrose or something, not roman, not brock, not HHH, they dont need it.

the only person who doesnt need it who I would be ok with is AJ, at least it would be fresh.
