Randy Orton was the most talented prospect of his generation, he was a natural in the ring. It's was very rare to see a young wrestler this gifted with so much potential and maybe the greatest look ever in the business.

What promoter would not push Randy Orton?

From the legendary OVW class of 2002, Randy was by far the stand out from a in ring ability standpoint.
Even Jim Cornette would tell you that.

Randy couldn't last 1 Japanese Tour? yeah right. Cody Rhodes is getting over in NJPW, so you really think that Randy Orton would not get over there? In the last G-1 SANADA caught Tanahashi in mid air with a cutter like Randy does and the japanese announcer Screamed "RKO!!!!!!". He didn't say Ace Crusher or a Diamond Cutter he screamed "RKO".
And Meltzer pretending that in japan the WWE stars are not known that well there and they will not get over with the NJPW crowd.

Randy is one of the few smart performers that can get away with not doing much and still get huge reaction.
Less is more.
Even if Randy Orton went to NJPW, on his 1st day gedo will give him the IWGP title just like he did with AJ who was not that known coming from TNA. Gedo gave AJ the belt right away when he wasn't as over at the start so i have no doubt in my mind that Randy would not only last 1 Japanese Tour but he will actually knock it outta the park because he is that damn good of a wrestler.

Dupree said "Do what I did Grow a set of Balls Go Out And Prove You're Special" LOL at this guy. Where did ever Dupree proved he is special? trying to get over with some indy smark on Facebook shows me this guy is so desperate for attention. :tripsscust

Jeff Hardy was uspended too, did WWE fired him? no. WWE is not that really stupid to fire Randy Orton.

BURNING BRIDGES???
LOL like WWE would bring him back, WWE forgot who he was. There is like 60-70 wrestlers in WWE that are far better than him that dont get any push so yeah they will bring this forgotten geek back.

HHH was a big mark for Dusty Rhodes, so why Cody was not a world champion? Randy is not where he is because of his last name.
Orton got in the door of WWE because of his father but because of his natural talent and hard work he got to the top!

Randy was handed his finisher?
DDP said on Austin's podcast that he called Randy and told Randy that he wants him to use the cutter because he wants that the best wrestler would use his finisher.
That's how highly legends thought of Randy in his early career.
Orton added his own twist to move.
It's safe to say that Orton has the best cutter ever, made it the most over finisher of his era.

Chin look? Randy is one of a dying breed of pro wrestlers that calls a match in the ring so he needs to communicate with his opponent about the next moves.
Randy dont pre script the entire match, he actually listens to the crowd.
Chin lock is at least a Wrestling move not like the flippy floppy dives.

Smarks & Haters saying Orton was handed everything are delusional, Randy had all the potential in the world at very young age.
15 years after his TV debut, WWE was high on so many young guys that they wanted to push but no one was even close to the potniel and the natural talent that Randy has.

Randy right now is already one of the greatest wrestlers in WWE history. One of the smoothest wrestlers in wrestling history.
Randy will be remembered for having The ...

Best Finisher.
Best Superplex.
Best DDT.
Best Dropkick.
Best Powerslam.

Randy worked the entire indies with 1 tweet. What A G.O.A.T!

I mean he's half right. Not fully right but he is half right.

I do not see current Randy getting over in Japan, not even close. If Adam Cole couldn't Randy sure as hell can't.

But thats irrelevent to the problem. Randy really had no right trashing indie wrestling when he would probably never be anywhere near as over if hr came from the i dies nor would I think he would care enough to adapt to the indie style. Randy was given a lot in his career based on his 'potential' and purely on that. He never really reached the potential that people thought he would early on whereas these indie guys often overachieved what little expectations they had without ever given anything.

But he was funny therefore he is right is a stupid mentality people have.

With all due respect to Adam Cole Bay Bay but come on man you can't compare him to Randy Orton from a in-ring ability standpoint. Not in the same league. I love Adam but come on man.
Plus, Orton is already super famous in Japan because of WWE, so Orton got more chances to get over there to say the least.

The fans in japan don't watch ROH or PWG how they supposed to know who Adam Cole is?
I am talking about the japanese fans and not the american fans that fly to the tokyo shows of the BOSJ and did the Marty Scurll bird scream(Meltzer:"How they knew him?" LOL), outside of tokyo Scrull didn't get any reaction on the BOSJ.

The japanese fans watch WWE that's why Cody is getting over in NJPW and Adam Cole is not. So for sure Randy Orton will get over.
15 years on top of WWE and you really think that they will not know who he is? LOL

Orton will be super over in japan!

Japanese wrestlers hit HARD. A couple months ago, Honma was temporarily paralyzed, and Shibata may never be cleared to wrestle again because his brain was bleeding after a headbutt. Orton tore his shoulder doing his RKO pose, he's fragile, he would die over there.

It doesn't really matter whether Dupree is any good himself, he's still right, Orton sucks. I've never seen one great match from him and I've seen pretty much all of them. He has no chemistry with ANYBODY. He had bad matches with DANIEL BRYAN. That is physically impossible.

Well, francophones around here do have lower than national average scores on literacy tests... (I can say this, 'cause I'm from the same place).

Orton seems to have made heaps of folks angry with his opinions. I imagine he rather likes that. I don't especially care for Orton, and I think his comments were uncalled for, but people need to stop reacting to everything like middle school kids by jumping online to show their anger in silly ways.

Someone was feeling irrelevant.

I don't know, I love/hate Orton. But as I' think of something nasty to type like, "fukk Orton" i just realized, he was THE ONLY wrestler to make a program with Brock interesting besides Taker. And he made the Wyatt feud shocking and interesting. Like compared to other vets who come and go, he does his thing.

So he's definitely something special and he's been over for years. non wrestling fans love him.

Funny about this whole indy thing, because even though Finn and Rollins worked their ass off to be main eventers, they are sort of the ones getting everything handed to them, and they are indie vets.

They aren't as fun to watch as AJ, Crews, or even Usos.

Slightly off-topic but since we're talking about Orton in Japan, I seriously would love to see him Vs Okada.

A ending sequence with him and Okada trying to each hit their own finisher. The Rainmaker reversed into an RKO, and vice versa, just a whole match being who hits their finisher first would be gold imo.

Way to go.....saying the same shit smarks have been saying for years. I don't care about any of that shit because he entertains me, so.......yeah

Orton doesn't have to prove anything lmao.

I had to Google this schmuck Dundee who is so good at his craft he apparently is still working indie halls.

Just because you went through the indies or were in the indies your whole life doesn't make you good or deserve anything. If anything it shows how crap you are. It's like being stuck in the lower divisions of any sport, they may work hard but they don't deserve to win the premier league as they suck. And from what I've seen from promotions and NXT, most of these guys are characterless spot monkey's

And so fucking what if Ortons family were in the business and that was his 'in'. Is this nobody really telling me that he wouldn't have taken a direct route into the wwe of he gad that chance and he would've instead rather worked bingo halls?

Well, he's not wrong :draper2

Orton WOULD have been fired years ago if he wasn't protected, and his matches ARE boring. Name the last truly great Orton match.
