He does it a lot. Yelling at Kofi, talking to Shane's kids, getting pissy with his opponents when they don't stick with the choreography. I've noticed he just does whatever he wants. Everybody else is you know, professional!
I like Orton and I'm not going to say he's a sociopath but I do think he is the type of person who's probably very arrogant and unreasonable. Kind of reminds me of Del Rio….
I wonder how him and Jinder are such good friends when they seem like polar opposite personalities.
Only one who breaks character? LOL Watch Talking Smack.
Talking to Shane's kids was very nice of him but he didn't break his character. Shane was in his team in that match.
Orton is a great guy backstage, He was really motivated to give Jinder his best match. He likes Jinder.
TJ Perkins said how Orton give everyone good advice and care for the young guys.
shawn was a fucking ass, you only have to watch him after the iron match with bret to see that, he shoved the referee away after giving him the belt, then told someone to get José Lothario out the ring because it was his moment.
I love his in ring work but as a person I simply dont believe people can just change like he supposedly has.
as for randy, hes not much better, cenas promo on him sounded like some truth coming out about him thinking he deserves it all etc.
Most of the legends respect him and didn't talk about him in a bad way and he is respected backstage by young talents too.
Just don't fuck or mess with him if he is doing something or angry that is also his behaviour with fans.
Ken Anderson is the only guy that talked shit about him and some indys who never met him for his recent comments and even Ken looked like his problem wasn't just with Orton.
I mean you are talking about incidents like 8 years apart lol. It would be like going " is AJ Styles a botch machine, he bumped this one time on a TNA weekly PPV, and in this random match last year. Does he suck?"
I do know Orton used to be labeled a hot headed fuck up but I imagine the man has grown up to some degree over the last 14 years. You never really hear about Orton shitting in bags or trashing hotels anymore
Consoling Shane's kids when Shane got hit so hard was far from a bad thing to do.
And Orton is one of the smoothest workers the pro wrestling business has ever seen, I fully get why he flips out when people he's working with fuck up and potentially injure him. Accidents happen, but the number rule in wrestling is to look after who you're in the ring with.
People ask me why I cant stand Orton, and this is one of the reasons. I'll never get over how childish and immature the whole Kofi thing was. Also, didn't he get Kennedy fired for doing the same exact thing that he just did at the PPV? I guess when you have your own set of rules then it doesn't matter......
A lot of wrestlers break character. Orton, Hall, Nash, HBK, Rock, Austin.
I think it depends on what it was, and what kind of negative impact it did.
If it was something like HHH and Stephanie breaking character to console a little boy when he was crying, then it's alright. Or HBK checking up on the crowd when the railing gave away, and they all fell or when HHH broke character and intercepted a fan when he was about to attack Austin for real. Or Cena acknowledging Bryan's rising popularity by encouraging the Yes chant.
Now, there are some other instances which are not so good; that Orton Kofi thing, Hall berating the Giant at Nitro, the Curtain Call, HBK Vader Summerslam thing, Stephanie going off on Punk on live TV, etc.
Because at this point in his career he's untouchable. His passion for wrestling seems to be fading anyways. So even if Vince reprimanded him, he probably wouldn't give a shit anymore.
It's why Orton could never be the face of WWE, he is so good when he wants to be but these days that's not often. He just coasts in 3rd gear and really doesn't give a crap, he's a made man in WWE
I don't think RO is a sociopath, but I do think he's just bored of WWE.
And Vince just let him do whatever he wants to keep him.
