I don't blame them one single bit for this. You have to take the safety of your performers AND fans into consideration, and no one wants tens of thousands of bodies on their conscience.

Re: WWE Show in Manchester on June 6th in Jeopardy Because of Recent Bombing

Being cautious is always good in my opinion, but do you really think they'd bomb the same place in just two weeks? It's highly unlikely.
They just bombed a concert full of kids. These terrorists just want to kill and hurt. I think they'd go for any opportunity.

Yeah, I won't blame them for canceling the event due to what just taken place last night and it will keep their talented NXT Wrestlers safe and sound. The first time the WWE will protect all of their stars from getting really hurt. Thank you for sharing this with us @Legit BOSS

While it's perfectly reasonable to be careful in these situations, this is the same company that ran a live show 2 days after 9/11, so I'd have thought they would keep the show on.

To be fair, random terrorist a-holes are more ubiquitous than plane stealing terrorist a-holes.

I can obviously appreciate the need for sensitivity and public safety, but then I remember that this company basically said, "Fuck the terrorists, we're still gonna live our lives and entertain people when they need it the most" just two days after 9/11.

Cowering in fear and pulling the plug on things that people enjoy is precisely what these monsters want. When that happens, they're winning.

The blast was outside the arena, so security doesn't really come into it. Arena security cannot really prevent what happened, at every venue, every stadium, there is a mass rush at the end of the event, where thousands are pouring out of the exit ways at the same time.

Whatever be the reason behind the cancellation (if it indeed happens), it is the right decision under the circumstances. The safety and well being of the performers and the fans SHOULD come first. When something like this happens, their is no harm in being extra cautious.

It's absolutely tragic what happened at the concert, and i'm heartbroken about it. I absolutely think promoters, venues, artists and fans should be cautious, and I don't disagree with anyone cancelling a show at all.

That said, I don't understand why 90 people died at the hands of terrorists at the Bataclan and (as far as I remember) no concerts were cancelled in the aftermath, and now everyone seems to be questioning the safety of putting on shows? Why was there such little caution in the aftermath of that attack? As soon as the attack at the Bataclan happened i was always very weary about going to shows, because it seemed inevitable that it would happen again. I'm curious as to what people think was different this time that caused such concern?

I'm not familiar with the bombing you reference, sadly there's been too many to keep track of, however I feel that since this recent one was targeting kids/teens is the reason everyone is reevaluating life and what it contains.

on one hand I'd be certain the place wouldn't be hit again ("Happens to someone else" mentality) but I wouldn't be able to enjoy a wrestling show as I sat where just 2-3 weeks ago people got murdered in same building. Would be a bit surreal and at forefront of my mind.

A few parts of Manchester has turned into a shithole nowadays, so I can't really say I blame them.

People, please don't try to use logic and be rational, you have to understand that terrorists don't care about rationality and logic, if they find any opportunity to kill people, why wouldn't they go for it?
