In the build up for Wrestlemania it's always criticized that the WWE is focusing on "part-timers" and "oldies", who are gone once Wrestlemania is over.
The biggest stage is used to celebrate the past instead of catapulting present wrestlers to "superstardom".
And i think right now we see, that what many were fearful about, has happened just at this moment.
Maybe it's because of this strange shake-up and the problem that there is a PPV with "old" feuds, yet the wrestlers are actually feuding with someone new on their roster yet.
Howsoever, i feel like absolutely nobody on that roster (besides maybe Strowman in the last 2 weeks) has any momentum going for them. They seem to be in absolutely basic feuds if you can even call it like that.
Matches, maybe some promos that we heard before.
But what is the big storyline going on?
I mean the WWE not even capitalized on Romans win over the Undertaker.
From a great "promo" at RAW after Mania, he became the poor underdog again and was written of tv.
Is there any character on the show that is hot and has momentum?
The shows feel dead and as if they would be waiting before firing up new storylines.
Nothing has really carried on from Mania. Goldberg is gone, HHH is MIA again, Takers retired, Brock has the Title but is MIA, Reigns has taken some time off (understandably), Cena's gone, Nikki's retired. Basically none of the big matches at WM had any follow up or allowed anyone to keep any momentum because most of the big match winners have disappeared. The part timers came alone en masse, took all the big matches then left us with this midcard for life roster.
Looking at that though The Hardyz are the only people with any momentum who won at WrestleMania. Thats a big issue, the big WM moments/matches went absolutely nowhere. There was no breakthrough moments, outside of Reigns who hasn't been on TV anyway no one came out of WM with any momentum that has paid off in any way or gone anywhere. Like Bayley won at Mania, but has become background furniture to Bliss and Sasha, and even Nia at times.
And Corbin is just kind of floating around at the moment putting the US Title guys over, hopefully he gets to murk Zayn because he needs a bit of a boost after his last coupe of months.
They messed up big time with the Superstar Shake-up. It should've taken place after Payback or Backlash. It was a stupid idea in the first place. Why not just have the draft like always after a couple of months? Why this stupid "shake-up" thing?
I don't think so. It would have been another match with a guest star. I hate mania matches with guest stars almost as much as mania matches with part timers. His momentum would have been gone anyways.

I think WWE has conditioned its audience to only care about the RTW and Summerslam. It's evident in the fact that 99.9% of these threads on here want X to win Championship Y at (choose: Wrestlemania/Summerslam). What strikes me weird is when SJW (Smark Justice Warriors) clutch their pearls when something eventful actually happens at a B-level PPV.
