I cant speak on the era of Fabolous Moolah but past 20 years I believe Charlotte has surpassed the likes of Trish and Lita at this point.

Most of the 4HW are overrated. Especially Sasha. I think some overrated ALOT of woman or talent these days. Charlotte surpassed Trish? Settle down. Alexa is my fav of this current era. Emma I like too. To finish I am going to say it the 4HW suck. Sasha has not had one great match on the MR. Stop over rating them.

Different answer depending on what the question actually is:

Greatest wrestler? Gail, Ivory, Molly, Jazz, Victoria etc would all be up there. Certainly Asuka if NXT is allowed.

Greatest package? Trish, AJ... Mandy might break into this spot some day.

Greatest success/legacy? Sable, Trish, Lita, Sunny... Charlotte & Sasha might be among them one day.

Well for post-1990.

Alundra Blayze was incredible in her own right and a great leader and face of the women's division, unfortunately there weren't many women at the time on her level besides Nakano, heck there weren't many women in the company period.

Then you've got huge draws like Chyna and Sable, but who in my opinion didn't contribute at all to women wrestling so I'll leave them out.

Trish and Lita were the two greatest for their time, and the standards back then were completely different than now if you're looking for match quality. Still, I don't think it's fair yet to say Charlotte has surpassed them.
Both Lita and Trish are highly charismatic women that nailed every role they got, they were able play top face and top heel of the division, get booed or cheered and play with the crowd. They made the crowd care about them, and women wrestling in WWE died when they retired, 7 years of crickets only to be resurrected by AJ Lee.
I'll add to those Mickie James who was part of the greatest women's feud of all times with Trish, retired Lita, and was pretty much the only diva the crowd cared about from 2007-2012. She's also been successful every she went.

I think for post 1990, My GOAT are:
1- Lita/Trish
3-AJ Lee
4-Charlotte/Mickie James/Madusa

Same thing for me. Might I add that AJ Lee is one of the only woman I've seen in a long time in the WWE that can play both a sympathetic baby face and a great heel.

If you're gonna make these kinds of threads, be a lot more specific and just say best WWE Diva. When you say "women's wrestler" but ONLY MENTION WWE DIVAS, you spit in the face of every woman who laces up boots in Mexico, Japan, UK and Canada. Not to mention the women who don't fit the mold or don't/didn't want to make a living being exposed in tiny wrestling gear or in panties matches covered in oil.

There's a larger wrestling world than just WWE people. Vince's playhouse is NOT the be all end all of wrestling, women or otherwise.

People don't want to admit it but Total Divas is a huge reason for the women's division's success. Exposure to wrestling among the E! crowd and a spotlight on the women's roster. But most importantly, it provided a huge contrast for the women's revolution to succeed. IMO the likes of the 4 horsewomen would not have gotten as over as they did if they weren't seen as so different from the ones on total divas.

Manami Toyota.

In the states, probably Gail Kim. Her and Awesome Kong blew away anything Trish/Lita did. Honorable mention to Madusa/Bull Nakano.

Women? I'd take Lita, Trish, Melina, Mickie, AJ, Kelly, Maryse, Kaitlyn, Stacy, Torrie over any woman from this new era (except maybe Alexa & Asuka).

Some of these new divas don't even deserve to be in the poll.

Trish, Chyna, Alundra Blayze, Sable, Lita

In that order, all made big strides in a time where women's wrestling was low. So harder to compare & say the newer girls are better.

Followed by Mickie & Beth

AJ was shite

I'm still going with Trish, but the gap is rapidly closing between her and Charlotte. If Charlotte is able to turn the SD division around and elevate women I saw as jobbers then I think that will put her over the top. I'd also like to see one more classic feud as I feel Trish had two with Lita and Mickie. A strong feud with Becky with a succesful face run and there will be no question for me anymore. I strongly feel that Charlotte is the most naturally gifted woman to ever step in a wrestling ring. She just needs a little more time as she hasn't even been in the MR for two years. No matter how much I love her I do try to be objective.

Strong honorable mentions to Chyna for her one of a kind accomplishments and to Sable for being the biggest female draw in wrestling history.

Sable (biggest female draw/star in wrestling history, nobody except Chyna comes close to her star power, part of one of the greatest storylines in the AE with Marc Mero and two GOAT women feuds with Luna and Jacqueline, they brought back the Women's Title and division because of her)
Chyna
Trish
Lita
Alundra Blazye/Madusa

Everybody else.

In terms of star power and popularity, Sable and Chyna stomp everyone else. The greatest 'wrestler' is much more subjective, there's a bunch you could put forward for that.

However, this is really a very unbalanced comparison between two entirely different eras that prioritised entirely different things.

Chyna inspired many like Beth & Natalya, the women who weren't perfect 10s to want to make in in the E

Her impact is 2nd to none

Sable really despite being terrible in the ring brought attentiom to women back into wrestling & got them featured more after Blayze left. Huge impact.

Charlotte is possibly the best talent they've had so she deserves a mention. I still cant look past Lita and Trish though. They were wore than just wrestlers, they're Icons, and both were insanely over with the fans, especially Lita. They didn't technically have great matches like say Sasha v Bayley but they had the other kind of great matches; matches that the fans truly cared about. Matches that the fans bought it. Matches that were given Main Event slots but didn't feel like WWE/F was beating you over the head with a phoney Womens Movement.
