During a recent interview on “Edge And Christian’s Pod Of Awesomeness”, The Young Bucks revealed that WWE’s Vince McMahon apparently had a message for them before The Hardys’ last match prior to returning to the WWE.
Prior to their match at ROH’ s Supercard Of Honor, Matt Jackson told Edge and Christian that Matt Hardy delivered a message to them from Vince McMahon, telling them to take care of his newly acquired stars before they return to the WWE
“We actually felt a lot of responsibility there too” Jackson told Edge and Christian. “We knew what they were doing the next night. We were two of the few guys in the world that actually knew about it.
Nobody else in Ring Of Honor that night knew about it except us. So we were like, ‘we can’t hurt these guys.’ What would that look like on us? […] That was defiantly weighing on our hearts. We were like ‘we gotta take care of these guys.’ They’ve got a big night tomorrow.”
“[Matt Hardy] comes up to the ring and he’s like, ‘Vince McMahon called me this morning and said, ‘hey I know these Young Buck kids are good, but could you please tell them to take care of you guys?””
More surprised about Vince saying "I know these Young Buck kids are good".
I'm certainly he was told they were but I just can't picture him even knowing who they are. Certainly nothing against them but it is Vince and he seems to be fairly clueless about non-WWE life.
I'm struggling to imagine how a conversation between Vince McMahon and The Young Bucks would go. I'd hope all three guys are in character and try to outdo each other in the ridiculousness category. They all love money and pissing people off, so maybe that's something they can bond over.
Vince probably thinks they're X-Pac's kids (The Kid's kids LOL) with the gear, boyish looks and the constant too sweeting :lol
Because he had that version of the Hardys 20 years ago and they didn't draw money then so they won't now. Plus he managed to get the real Hardys and likely their broken gimmick. What the hell does he need the Young Bucks for. I'm pretty sure WWE's superkick quota is being filled by the Usos and Ziggler.
Because one the Bucks are happy with their current position and two Vince having Anderson and Gallows, Ballor, and Styles is scared of the Bullet Club reuniting in the WWE and dominating.
I dunno why people think Vince lives in a bubble. Hogan/Cena/Austin/etc weren't originally WWE guys. While Triple H is the one that courts talent it's likely that Vince still signs off on the big buys.
I am kind of disappointed. I was hoping his message would have been something like "I want you both to come to the WWE as The Hard Boyz Version 2.0". Damn, said Ron Simmons.
only watched a young bucks match once and that was wk this year.
cant understand the hype about these guys. what so special about them?
dont get me wrong im not the daily indy hater but seriously the internet made them like the next hardys for the next 10 years.
Keep doing research on them and catching their matches and maybe you'll see what makes them special. Not sure any type of description of The Young Bucks can sway someone into "getting" them. Put in the work and see for yourself if you're that interested.
