So it was confirmed on WWE.com that the Andre the Giant battle royal won't even be on WM but rather the pre-show. So Big Show might be done after this WM and he's not even on the final card. He really wanted to do the Shaq match, Shaq backed out which is a "shame" because he got into shape for it and blah, blah, blah

Sorry I have no sympathy whatsoever. This guy has been wrestling for over 20 years and he JUST gets into shape and starts taking this seriously now? At the very end of his career? And that's anyone else's fault how exactly? Show had all the tools and gifts in the world and could've been alot more than he was but by his own doing, he's been lackluster for the majority of his career. It was his decision to be an out of shape, overweight slob in the ring and it pisses me off because he had all the potential in the world. I don't feel sorry about him being left off the card of what is probably his last WM.

You're acting like Big Show has been atrocious his whole career. He's been a phenomenal talent. Maybe he didn't reach his full potential but he's great in the ring for his size and his character and promos have been first rate for years. Big Show is a guy that deserves more respect than he gets.

You do realise Big Show is a legit giant right? A man his size keeping in shape especially on the road isn't easy. A man his size has to eat a frankly stupid amount of food just to have enough energy and have a suitable daily intake of everything a body needs. And then to build that much muscle on that big a frame takes an insane amount of work. He's not lazy, he's a giant who lived up to his gimmick, and a giant that struggled to stay in great shape while touring the world and dealing with cars/beds/planes/seats/etc that were too small for him all the while.

"could've been alot more" --- Tell me .... What did you want him to be?

He won the WCW title literally on his first night in his early 20s; remained one of their top guys; came to WWF to become an even bigger star; had solid feuds with Undertaker, Edge, Shane O' Mac, Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, and Big Bossman etc.; won an assortment of titles (e.g. World Title, Tag Team titles, US titles, etc).

A guy like Big Show could never be the face of the company, ala Bret Hart. He was one of the top guys for 20 years, which is as much as you can ask. Big Show had the most successful career that he could've had.

The big show is one of the best performers in the history of the business.

People talk about bad booking a lot now but Show is the person who's had the worst booking of all time, he's far better than Andre in every way and should be considered as such. The biggest problem Show has had is that he's worked too many dates and been overexposed by WWE. If he'd been kept as a rare attraction he could have been the biggest star in the industry for 2 decades.

Instead he's been used to patch holes with his constant heel/face turns and always put people over, he was very good in the ring for a man of his size, certainly compared to other giants he's among the very best. Even among casuals the Big Show is recognisable and is always believable no matter what kind of role he's playing.

It really is a shame that Show doesn't get the credit he deserves, he'll be missed and it's unlikely we'll ever see another superstar like him.

First, of all big show is one of the best big men we will ever have

Second, part of his gimmick is being a tall fat dude. So what you are saying doesnt really make sense

Yes you are bad tbh. I never understood the Big Show hate. He gets into shape, he's been full time or close to the last few years only to put over people yet everyone geeks out for Undertaker who does one match a year, cuts the exact same promos and looks worse every year :wtf2

Hopefully Big Show does retire so he can stay home and enjoy Destiny 2.

I think you're being a tad harsh, but that's just me. Big Show is a sure fire hall of famer, one of the best big men that WWE's had in its history. Sure he's lost his appeal over the last few years but he was also one of WWE's 'larger than life' characters from yesteryear. Responsible for some great moments. He needs to retire but i've got tons of respect for him.

I understand where you're coming from, but he's had a pretty good 20+ year career that most wrestlers would kill for. His first feud with Hulk freaking Hogan, how many people can say that? He had a very high profile match with Floyd Mayweather a few years ago.

I'm sure he would like his potentially last WM to be a little better, but what to you expect when you're counting on a retired NBA player to have a match with?

he and mark henry should have a career vs career match where the stipulation is not only do you have to retire if you lose, but that you cant be inducted into the hall of fame ever either. Id actually watch that. Have Big show come out to retire and then have Mark Henry get mad that Big Show was stealing his spotlight etc...and that he was going to retire then.

K so I'm calmed now and my nipples are softening so here goes:

BIG SHOW should work with The Golden Truth but in disguise as BIGDUST. R-Truth should acquire some sort of mystical power that can transform Goldust into a bigger version of himself and BIG SHOW should don the costume!!!

They both kinda carry themselves the same even though Show is more lumbering, but I think it would be a great way to get Goldust and R-truth back in the limelight and get Big Show some checks to cash. DOes any1 else think this would be the COOLEST thing evar like WAY cooler than the stupid Wyatt CHIT???

???

!!!

I may not agree with everything the Big Show's done (e.g burying Eric Rowan several times), but he's had an outstanding career overall and is at least one of the best big guys ever to lace them up. It's a shame he's relegated to the pre-show, although I feel much worse for Braun Strowman, who deserves much better after his work over the last year...

Big Show is a legend. He may have had dozens of face/heel turns/questionable booking but he's had a ton of accomplishments over the last 22 years. He's the only man to hold the WCW, WWE, world heavyweight, and (WW)ECW titles, and it will almost certainly stay that way.

Despite having gigantism he's still incredibly agile in the ring and in his younger days could reportedly do a moonsault. Andre was the original legendary giant but just didn't compare in the ring. Big Show is an automatic future Hall of Famer.

Big Show has been lazy and, frankly, terrible at points of his career. Kudos to the man for getting back into shape, but he's not "owed" fucking shit. He should have delivered when they put him the position to deliver, time after time. I personally enjoy a lot of his work, and I think he's managed to turn a lot of shit into salad, but I don't feel "sorry" for him. Be more interesting. That being said, I'd have loved to have seen Big Show vs. Samoa Joe added to the WrestleMania card over a lot of the other stuff on it. Show could have gotten killed and really put him over.

I doubt this will be his last WrestleMania or appearance with the WWE, for the record. Distance makes the heart grow fonder, so they will just keep giving him reduced dates and using him as a special attraction, also making it easier for him to stay in shape.
