Agility, Athleticism, Promo, Selling, Intensity, Story telling, Ability, Technical, Professionalism, Charisma, In ring work

Has there ever been a WWE wrestler who brought as much to the table as kurt Angle? The guy had a bit of everything and was damn good at all of it. Mr Perfect (Kurt Hennig) is the only person who i can think of who even comes close to Angle in terms of all the attributes listed above

Kurt Angle is the best all rounder in WWE history

Its true, Its damn true

Angle was better than Bret Hart ever was, imo.

I honestly think Angle is the best ever. If not top 3... The guy could do it all. His wrestling ability was spectacular, his promo was great, he could make you hate his guts or piss your pants with laughter. He was absolutely remarkable... he played a dork and a legitimately terrifying human when he was "The Wrestling Machine" - Maybe i'm biased because Kurt is my favorite of all time, whatever.

I cant wait to be there live on Friday when he gets inducted to the HOF.

Bret Hart is probably the closest as well as Mr Perfect like you said.

He was an excellent performer, but his in-ring ability is overrated; he was hardly above average. The reason people rate his wrestling ability highly is that:

1). WWE consistently pushed him as a technical wizard, which shaped people's perception of him.

2). He had great opponents to carry him and, thus, give him a long list of classic matches. These opponents include Chris Benoit, Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, and Chris Jericho.

100% disagree with this.

Nope. I grew up adoring the Undertaker. Idolising him. He was my childhood and, as a kid, I used to think he was the best. I still love the Undertaker and will always love him for having been associated with the happiest period of my life. He is the only wrestler I love and care about.

BUT...

Now that I'm an adult, I realize who is indeed the greatest ever, the best of all time and it's not even close. Kurt Angle is the single greatest performer in the history of the WWE and probably of pro-wrestling. And I'm not biased because I was not and I'm not a fan of him per se. What I am now is a huge admirer and fully recognize he is the GOAT. I'm completely neutral as I don't have any type of emotional connection to him and it doesn't even pain me to say he impresses me every time I watch a video of him, be it a promo or a match. He was THAT damn good. So, no, no one better than Kurt. And to the people saying Shawn Michaels, Kurt is much better in the areas of intensity, professionalism and real-life capability.

Kurt Angle is by far my favorite wrestler of all time and I think very few people come close to being as wellrounded. Ric Flair in the 80s. Shawn in the 90s. Kurt angle in the 2000s. Those are the most wellrounded wrestlers in the history imo.

Kurt Angle in 2003 might be the greatest inring year any wrestler has ever had

I have Flair above Angle in everything except pure athletiticism and technical wrestling ability. When it comes to overall in ring product Flair was a better storyteller hands down. Better at pacing, crowd interaction, and also at making his opponent look just as good as himself.

I personally dont think Jericho is on the level of guys like Angle,Flair,Shawn and Savage. Jericho doesnt have a good look or a presence about him. He,s good in the ring but certainly not on the level of Angle,Benoit,Eddie or Shawn when it comes to premium workers of the 2000s. I'll give you micwork tho.

A lot of what makes Angle great can be attributed to the 3 Is.

Intensity, Integrity, and Intelligence.

But yea I have Angle as one of the GOATS when it comes to Best All Arounders.

Other names springing to mind are Piper, Savage, Lawler, Funk, Eddie, and a few others.

Lawler being a name you don't actually hear much, but from what I've seen from him he had it all.

Even though I'm from Pittsburgh and biased, I still say Flair was the best. However Angle is up there right behind him.

I know Shawn Michaels was a lot better after he found god or whatever, but that doesn't erase everything that he pulled before that. Shawn and professionalism don't even belong in the same sentence.
