This morning, THE GAMEUHHH :trips stopped by ESPN's premier show(and my favorite sports show), First Take, to promote Wrestlemania, his match with Rollins, and big moves being made by WWE. Cliffnotes are below.
80,000 people are expected to attend Wrestlemania
Roman Reigns, Goldberg, The Undertaker, John Cena, and Brock Lesnar were listed as notable names
All 5 events are sold out
Triple H has signed 10 Chinese nationals
Triple H openly expresses his intent to sign athletes who had NFL aspirations
Triple H primarily looks for the most charismatic individuals when recruiting
Triple H says unlike the NFL, which puts emphasis on the team, WWE encourages individuality and self branding
Triple H takes a jab at himself for making straight to DVD films and says nothing in production compares to 100,000 fans screaming at your live performance
In total viewership for its entire week in Prime Time (8 p.m. to 11 p.m.), ESPN is down -3 percent (1,711,000 vs. 1,771,000) from one week earlier and up +35 percent (1,711,000 vs. 1,264,000) from the same week one year ago (March 7-13, 2016).
In total viewership for its entire week in Total Day (6 a.m. to 5:59 a.m.), ESPN is up +37 percent (896,000 vs. 652,000) from one week earlier and up +20 percent (896,000 vs. 748,000) from the same week one year ago (March 7-13, 2016).
I saw it earlier. People at the bar were watching it. I'd love it if WWE worked with Stephen A — maybe guest host one night or involve him in a storyline.
Forget about who shouldn't be on the list. Just put a little effort in and Cesaro could get a major push. Still waiting for WWE to push him? It's up to you guys. Isn't he the best wrestler in the WWE?
I was hoping he would comment on the hypocrisy of pushing a Women's Revolution while one of the most notable stars of the past decade has been completely blacklisted, but no one cares about washed up has beens who were only good enough to fight for a trash butterfly, right?
Boy Wonder acting like Bryan's fan support is the standard :lol
On Cesaro I would not mind him getting a World title push and would prefer him to be an upper midcarder but he could be in a worse spot in the card. Also it would help if people actually cheered for superstars instead of chanting CM Punk like fucking idiots.
Damn, Trips really explained the WWE infrastructure well, especially when it came to recruitment. Wish they could've discussed the Rollins feud more but Stephen A. marking out makes up for it.
He's an Idiot. I'm enjoying Lavar Ball owning him right now lol.
