As much as I'd like to see him back in WWE I doubt they would make much of him this time around. He seemed to have fallen out of favour with the people in charge I don't know if they would be interested in pushing him this time any more than the end of his first run with them. I'm going to miss him in TNA. At least they still have EC3
Well he can't end up any worse than Jinder Mahal if he was brought back lol. Drew was Vince's chosen one at one point, before that whole thing went down with his ex wife. Maybe they'll give him another chance...but I wouldn't expect him to move from beyond the mid card again.
Ok, you’re jumping the gun a bit. The guy just now announced that he was leaving Impact. Who knows what his future holds. Maybe he works more in the UK. Maybe he even tries to get in Japan.
I do think he’ll be back in WWE eventually, but lets slow down and see where this goes.
He already has alot of work with evolve, wcpw, icw etc so I don't see the point of him returning to WWE where he certainly won't be pushed over goldberg, lesnar, hhh, undertaker, lesnar, the shield trio, cena, styles, Orton, Wyatt, Owens, Joe, balor or roode, Nakamura when they come up
I am sure roh/new Japan would be a better option. Get over in Japan and WWE will push you in 3-5 years
I actually really like that moniker for Drew. "The Forgotten One"
You could have a lot of fun with that gimmick - perhaps go plural with a far more serious version of The Social Outcasts. A 2017 version of The Flock. The Forgotten Ones.
This, he was always pretty vanilla and generic, which is why he didn't connect with the crowd and got released the first time despite his strong booking prior to 3mb. Plus with other big guys like Roman Reigns, Baron Corbin, Braun, Big Cass etc in the wwe now there's really no use for Drew.
Drew Galloway is another guy that WWE gave up on who really blossomed into a great wrestler once he left. The problem is that doesn't always translate if a return happens. I kinda hope he doesn't return though. He could really build himself up even more that he has in the indie scene.
He could and should be a big deal when he returns. He's got the size and the ability to go really far in the company as long as WWE can get over themselves and give him an opportunity to be something other than 3MB.
Drew can do better than being a 3MB jobber in the WWE. At this point guys like Rhodes Sandow and Mclyntyre know they can make double the money than they were making in the WWE by working less date to boot which is nice.
WWE is just the big league of wrestling that's just riding on prestige alone. And everyone wants to make it there for the sake of saying I was there. Not every one wants to be a WWE sport entertainer. Some people are just happy in making their names on the Indy scene.

If he really does come back a stint in NXT would serve him well. Last time Vince had him on television he was a comedy jobber with Heath Slater. Sure he might get a small push initially but soon he would be right along Jinder Mahal jobbing.
Nxt is going to lose Roode and Nak eventually in the next few months. Galloway would get more promo time and opportunity to be showcased in that setting, he could be a maineventer, there and get himself over with the hardcore audience and get a buzz. He is still young enough that aftet a stint in NXT he has time to make money on the main roster.
Couldn't agree more. Past talent that is let go and then wants to come back should have to go through NXT first. I really wish Drew was a part of the UK tourney a few weeks ago. Barrett as well. Would have put them over the top and would have been a great way to get them back to the WWE.
I love Drew but with all the new talent coming through i just don't see a relevant place for him on the roster. He could maybe add something to the mid card on SD but if they booked him like sh*t before then i'd worry for him as they have better talent on the roster now.
Nothing wrong with coming in as the "next big signing" for NXT. He can still work indie shots while doing NXT. But coming in as just another guy on RAW or Smackdown is a bad move for his career. If hes going back, he needs that main event run on NXT where he'll get those high profile Takeover matches
Dolph Ziggler won championships while being acknowledged as a former member of the spirit squad. So, historically, they've certainly been open to pushing a guy they previously viewed as a jobber. However, when they brought the Dudley Boyz back, they didn't even attempt to acknowledge or do anything with Buhbuh's success with the Bully Ray gimmick. Although they're willing to push former jobbers, they're probably not going to immediately let Galloway's indie and TNA success work its way into his WWE character. Galloway might be better off continuing to build on what he's been doing well since leaving.
Ambrose poached his finisher. But Drew was a guy who seemed to lose focus/desire when they stopped his big push. He could be a top guy IMO - I hope they sign him back.
Shane vs AJ Styles at WM, McIntrye appears and takes out AJ getting Shane-o the win, unbeknownst to Shane who is incapacitated at the time. Vince brought back his chosen one and sent him out to protect his boy.
I would like to see Drew vs Nak, but Nak is very likely moving up post-WM and McIntrye wouldn't debut until post WM, or at earliest WM Takeover show. Outside of that match though, no real money matches IMO for Drew in NXT. Roode vs McIntyre does nothing for me. Ohno vs McIntyre is a regular tapings type ME, though I'd want to see it.
