Will the WWE ever allow Daniel Bryan to wrestle again?

Ever since Daniel Bryan became Smackdown general manager, I've felt some vibes of story lines that could bring Bryan back very easily. As reported, WWE is the only wrestling company that won't clear Bryan to wrestle, so it is possible for him to wrestle again for other companies. I thought a good idea would be getting the feud between the Miz and Daniel Bryan, due to the Miz poking remarks at his former apprentice. Their segment on Talking Smack would have been a perfect foundation to bring Bryan back to wrestle again. I'm positive Bryan would come back if he could, even if he has had concussions. The damage is already done, so why not just continue wrestling. It would boost the current view rate and get the company back on track from not sucking.

What do you guys think, should he continue being someone in the back or someone in the ring?

The Miz vs Daniel Bryan would be the perfect start back feud.

I don't think he should. Even if he did he would be extremely toned down and boring. That's not what made him who he is. Plus it's just dangerous I don't want to watch a match, and think the whole time about his health. Then you have the mental damage it could do to him, the longer he stays away the easier it is for him to manage it I would imagine. He gets in one time he will be back to square one.

Stay retired, if you miss watching him use the network and watch some old matches. That's the Bryan you want to remember, not the one that would get into the ring today.

I sort of want to see him come back and for things to go bad, just to see how some of y'all do with the ramifications of this consistent request. Like do you folk care about how bad off he was? For him to be y'all's guy some certainly don't have his best interest in mind.

Yes because Bryan lying is irrelevant. Vince is keeping him because he wants to push Reigns.

Unfortunately, he loves this business so much that I fully expect him to wrestle again in the future, even though he shouldn't. He's a sensible guy, Danielson, but that seems to stop when it comes to his love of wrestling.

If he does wrestle though, I hope he does it in the safety of a WWE ring. Wrestling for an indie promotion, or NJPW etc, will just result in him doing things that will make his health worse than it already is. At least WWE would protect him.

Never, because they'd look like massive hypocrites.

I heard that Kurt Angle may be wrestling one more time in a WWE ring? - I sort of hope it happens just to show WWE for the hypocrites they are. Kurt Angle is almost certainly in worse shape than Bryan and if Angle was to EVER pass a physical then Bryan most definitely could and I sort of feel that would be the last straw for Bryan and he'd probably just end up leaving.

Saying that, with him now married and starting a family, he probably doesn't even want to contemplate a potential risk to his health. I think at times it probably kills him to sit backstage and see these guys out there wrestle, especially the likes of Styles who's a very safe and experienced worker and know that we will never get Bryan/Styles in a WWE ring because THAT is the match i'd love to have seen at Wrestlemania instead of Styles/Shane if they were going down the Styles vs. Authority figure angle.

How do you know that? Are you their doctor?

In WWE? No. But it has less to do with his health and more to do with how they feel about Bryan. I'm sure getting that phone call was a great day in the life of Vince McMahon.

Will he wrestle elsewhere? It's a very strong possibility. It's gonna be interesting to see what happens when his contract is up. WWE obviously doesn't want him to go elsewhere, but they also won't want to pay him to much for what he's doing Bryan does have a relentless passion for wrestling, he also has a baby and a lot of bills a comin.

As much as I love Bryan, hang it up dude, it's not about you anymore, it's about your wife and kid. Squash the Miz with the kicks he's been stealing, put Shane in the Yes lock when enevitably start feuding, and try to find something else (in wrestling or out) you can be just as passionate about... like cobbling, dude seems like he'd love cobbling.

I think the most we'll see from Bryan is a yes lock or a flying knee.

An actual match? Don't think so. WWE won't want to take the risk or it will make them look very bad if he gets hurt knowing full well his injury history.

The WWE will never clear Daniel Bryan to wrestle unfortunately, otherwise they would've done so already. :( Despite his passion for professional wrestling, he's expecting a child soon with Brie so I highly doubt it even if he wanted to.

I loved The Miz's work in 2016 with the IC Title but if Daniel Bryan WERE to come back for one more match... I would much rather see that happen with Balor, Styles, Nakamura (dream match), or Itami (KENTA). Sorry Miz! :)
