My opinion is I really do not get the bandwagon of HHH is the savior of WWE after Vince dies. I mean no offense but what has the Cruiserweight division done to WWE? Their ratings are still the same. NXT is not as good as they used to. We all know deep down inside its really Steph who will control WWE after Vince passes and the fact people do not believe that is not good at all. Is he really the man to do it?
I wouldn't say I'm on his bandwagon, but you can tell by watching the shows HHH is mainly involved with (NXT, CWC, UK) and the shows Vince runs (Raw & Smackdown) are different.
There's an air of change, which is something WWE fans have been waiting for for a long time. I can't say that I agree with everything he does but IMO he does a lot better with the little things and touches on his shows as opposed to Vince.
And as far as NXT and the cruiser weights go. #1, He's always losing his NXT talent to the main roster and #2, the cruiser weights we saw on Raw are under Vince's direction.
Ratings have nothing to do with Cruiserweights. Or anyone on the roster.
Wrestling just isnt "cool" anymore. It was cool in the 90's, but that was then and this is now. What worked then wont do anything now. Its like Jerry Springer in 2017. No ones going to want to see that trashy shit.
In fact, 90s wrestling, despite being a huge draw in its time, has actually ruined wrestlings reputation because while society has moved forward and that kind of car crash tv is not really acceptable anymore (its seen as white trash tv), people just assume WWE is still what they remember it.
It was a fad, and when it died out the casuals left. And nothing will bring them back until things come back around and wrestling becomes a fad again. WWE are catering more to the smarks than ever before because they know they are their main base and they are the ones that will be around long term, so WWE need to please them.
HHH is probably better at that than Vince, based on his work so far, and since hes younger and more in touch. So I think he will be successful.

This is all true. WWE still has a massive hard-on for 90s nostalgia and the industry as a whole is still living in the shadows of the Monday Night Wars. And WWE have driven away so many casuals now that they are pretty much going to live or die by their hardcore base.
Even NXT in its current state, from the little I've seen, still feels like it has a better presentation and less restrictions than anything on the main roster and there's more opportunities for people to get over.
On the other hand, I think he will retain many of Vince's philosophies, especially if Stephanie is still there.
Yes. There are only so many people who will be that involved in the product and love wrestling that much that are in the position to do so and he is one of them. He loves the business, he loves his job, he pours his heart into his work. I believe he can book the main roster better than Vince does and the fact he doesn't completely live in a WWE bubble like Vince would be an asset.
Gonna be interesting to see who actually gets the company once Vince passes. Thought for sure HHH and Stephanie were getting it, but Shane coming back last year threw a monkey wrench in that thinking.
If you like pure technical wrestling then Triple H's WWE will probably be great for you. However, if his boring tournaments and post-Dusty NXT are anything to go by, then fans of entertainment-driven pro-wrestling may as well come to terms with the fact that the product will be shit.
:Tripslick has been dispatching bodys in the ring and backstage like Michael Corleone since 16 years. Kevin Dunn is walking with a bullseye on his chest since three years at least
Anyone who takes over the company and lifts all the self imposed restrictions on it and fires the entire creative and pulls in creative from other successful promotions, will make the company better. If Triple H really is the driving force behind the roster we have today and things like NXT/the UK Tourney/CWC etc then he's obviously got the right idea but right now WWE is squandering so much talent in their badly booked environment.
HHH deserves praise for how he has reinvented pro wrestling. He truley is an innovator. His work with NXT. The WWE UK tournament recently, went over well. I know alot of people hate him for their own personal reasons. But the guys an innovator imo. And yes I think he should take over Vince. Hell he should take over now, Vince should retire. He is out of touch. But I think the Booking is the major issue. IT is the worst ERA ever for booking. Could you imagine this Booking in the Attitude Era? Instead of Rock and Austin. We would have Rocky Maivaia and Stunning Steve Austin .
There are 4 things you can look at, that show what kind of a job HHH will do if he had the keys to the kingdom
1) Recruitment
Recruitment since he started to take more of an active role has been fantastic. WWE have brought in the very best free agents the world of pro-wrestling has to offer from the ones that were first evident to me, to have his finger prints on them of Awesome Kong and Mistico to this past year signing Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles the same month the rocked the Tokyo Dome in the biggest show of the year in Japan
2) NXT
Look how well NXT has been run. Everything from the quality of the product going from developmental style FCW to now being the best super indy in the world. NXT is bigger than anyone ever expected it to be and we can even throw the performance centre into this. That facility is kinda his baby and it's helping to develop some world class talent.
3) CWC
The cruiserweight classic tournament was what tournament wrestling show be. Firstly, a bunch of diverse talents all being given exposure on the Network. Ranging from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels (nobodies even to somebody who follows the indy scene up to former WWE main roster talent such as Kencrick.) Then the way the show was produced from the look, to the commentary team, to the preview packages establishing the characters was brilliant stuff. The show had a unique look, even though it was shot in the same place as NXT and it had a unique feel with a real sport kind of vibe with the weigh-ins and the handshakes.
4) WWE UK Title
The UK has long been desperate for pro-wrestling. After the glory days of World of Sport faded in the 80's, it is just now making a comeback 3 decades later. HHH capitalised on this (along with the World of Sport comeback show) and put together a 16-man tournament, making sure to pick some of the very best talent these fair isles have to offer. It seemed to me, to be a tester as it aired live on the WWE Network for possible future live shows in the UK (WrestleMania please!!!!) Again, it had these real sport feel and a big fight feel in the place. Not to mention the unique look that the show had which will make it a classic show for people to go back and watch for the rest of time.
In one hand he's an old school guy who wants to improve the product. But Stephanie is there and that has no chance of happening.
And then on the other hand there's his ego (stealing the spotlight from younger talents pushing his boys etc and burying the rest) and his idiotic wife Stephanie emasculating talents each weeks.
Shane has the business mindset, but Vince will favor that cunt Stephanie and her egotistical husband over him.
Trips let's his personal issues get in the way of business. As shown with Kurt Angle in that AE. theme WrestleMania. Which isn't best for business.
I don't know. There's no real way to know how he will run things. NXT doesn't tell us much. Running a huge company and booking Raw/SD is much different than running NXT. I'd like to think he'll be more open minded and less stubborn than Vince but who knows.
On the creative side, I can't think of a better candidate, so he should be in charge of the day-to-day product just like he's been with NXT.
On the business end, I think Vince's role will be diluted among the people handling that stuff and the family. I don't think any one person in that company will hold the same power Vince holds now.
Depends, if it solely on keeping the hardcore fans around then yes he's best for business, but if you wan to push the envelope and draw million of fans over than might want to look somewhere else.
Triple H brings that Pro Wrestling feeling back to the events that he is doing, where it's not about the Entertainment, but more about the Sport. The Crusierweight Classic, NXT, and the recent UK Tournament are examples of what a Triple H style of show or concept is. WWE's main shows do nothing to enhance the sport and have proven to have not worked well with today's current market. Triple H alone can't change the WWE, but I think he will have a lot of influence in bringing Pro Wrestling back to it's Heyday once again.
It's going to be funny reading posts 10 years from now when the same people who criticize the WWE under Vince will be saying things like "It wouldn't have gotten this bad if Vince was still alive".
No. He has too big on a ego, falls out with everyone, screws people out n stuff. Vince would do business with people who would sue him n what not. HHH just doesn't have that or he does maybe but after a long while till the other guy kisses his as*.
I like what he did with NXT. I think he should have NXT & a top COO type role. But I like Shane, he is a nice guy, well liked, doesn't play as much politics & I think he should take over with HHH guiding him.
Steph obviously should be nowhere near the power center.
