We have seen how the crowd got muted during Noman Gains Entrance at PPVs.
We have seen how they piped in canned cheers (fake cheers)
We have seen how they tried to manipulate us with their "its fun to boo him" commentary.

But now the Manipulation has gone to a whole new level.
You wont see this on SmackDown im sure.
Just watch this:

This fuckin company tries nearly everything only to fail at the end :lmao
I hate how they edit the fans. no matter o their reactions or noise. I doesnt matter if its for Reigns or a other wrestler to be honest.

BTW: when did this trend started with pointing on specific fans in the crowd?

I just also want to point out that it doesnt matter if this was done for reigns styles cena rollins or goldberg or whatever.
WWE simply should not manipulate the noise or the reactions of the FANS. lts a no-go.

Oh look another bait thread

And oh look another conspiracy theory
its not a bait thread.
this thread is pretty much my third thread that i ever opened.
its isnt a conspiracy theory no one said it was a theory. it is a fact.
your comment is shit.

:lmao

It's not even as if it would make a whole load of difference to people's opinion in the long run, no-one's going to be fooled into thinking Reigns is liked because of one guy's brief reaction, but the fact that they go to such effort like this to fabricate things is hilarious. Imagine if they put as much effort into actually booking Reigns as a character that people could actually get in to?

I've never in my life seen one professional wrestler that has been this protected as Roman Reigns.

At this point, everything is just laughable at every damn attempt to get him over.

These fuckers, I bet you they've never even edited a replay video before now. They certainly never changed audio levels during shows or piped in boos or cheers on Smackdown before Roman Reigns become a main eventer, and I'm 100% sure commentary never, not once, tried to flesh out a narrative before his superman push with a rocket ship strapped to the moon and right down our throats, how dare they pull this shit!

Above all it just sucks that they do not see the problem with having to manipulate fans just to try to get over someone who just isn't getting over. Why don't they know when to say enough is enough. It's not like Roman is a failure, he will be around for a long time, just maybe not as the top guy right now. Knock him down a peg or two and let him try to organically get over. If it works it works if not you have a great mid carder that makes lots of money. No harm no foul.

I just don't get why they're this concerned about Reigns getting hostility. If I were sitting in the board room I would be thinking of ways to spin this incredible hostility and criticism as something in Reigns' favour which has already silently been happening in cyber space and other social media outlets for years now.

What the WWE needs to understand is that hate and criticism is a lot lot better than apathy. There is no difference between a vocal critic and an apathetic individual as far as monetary discussions go. Both don't spend a penny on buying Reigns' merchandise or any other stuff related to the Reigns' brand. But something which a vocal critic does which a fence sitting apathetic individual doesn't; is to influence the minds of other fence sitters towards making a concrete decision.. which is to either join the critics' train . . OR. . to deem all the criticism as being harsh and unjustified and get goaded towards actually becoming fans of the said performer.. an occurrence which has been happening non stop for the past two years now which has only propelled Reigns' popularity even further in many of the non traditional centres like India and the Middle East and relatively less informed demographics like the casuals.

Every propaganda has a counter propaganda and I feel the WWE needs to realise is that it's amply clear that booking Reigns the way they have has had absolutely no financial ramifications whatsoever. The guy remains in the Top 3 merchandise, has legions of followers in the worldwide domain of WWE audience and WWE keeps piling on people to their shows with 100,000 past year at WM and prospectively 150,000+ at this year's RR+WM. There is absolutely no need for them to manipulate anything, it's absolutely irrelevant and serves no purpose in this day and age of professional wrestling with cameras and Internet everywhere. Just let the organic reaction stay; it's only helping him AS FAR AS what they're aiming to make him become is concerned.

Hold on are grown adults really upset, that a show built around working the audience, upset that the company lied and tried to manipulate them? It's almost as if this business was built in the carny days to swindle people ?

???? :lmao :lmao You can't be serious. Is the volume and muting stuff cool, no of course not. Is it sad, a tad sad yes. But I can't believe you guys are "surprised". I mean companies have done it for seriously over guys like Goldberg, so if a mega over star can get crowd manipulation, then nobodies off limits. Especially a guy who's facing noticable resistance.

All businesses are about money. McDonalds is as corporate as they come but you don't see them talking about their ad revenue growth and expansions in every commercial. WWE's relationship with their investors are so public its embarrassing they pat themselves on the back at every chance. Does their PR team not tell them WWE comes off as huggable as a stone cold serial killer?

It means when something is so openly blatantly deceitful, there are probably more deceit that has yet to surface. The latter part of that statement is truly frightening.

Funny how smarks are very sensitive with this kind of things but only when it comes about Reigns, it's like you're always looking for any small reason to dislike Reigns position and what he represents, you love to complain about it.

If I was WWE, I would do these kind of things more often and more obivous, leading neckbeards to get angry for every little thing that implies they are protecting they top guy, would generate even a bigger heat.

Senseless heat, like they have done thigns like that with every fucking segment everytime they can, but its only a problem because ITS ROMAN, THE COMPANY/VINCEZ BOY. But who gives a shit, keep doing it.

Pretty pathetic.

It goes beyond Reigns. Stuff like this is why many in WWE'S core fanbase see the company as inherently untrustworthy. Is it any wonder so many of us can be so unforgiving, so cynical?

I wonder if Reigns is aware of how unhelpful this kind of thing is. They got him spouting that I'm just here for the families crap. Who knows whether he's aware of the problem.

I don't think he gives a shit TBH. He is getting paid very well and knows he is getting pushed no matter what.

the crowd's reaction is supposed to be the one thing that isnt fake so the promoter can accurately gauge whether the shit he's pushing is working or not

vince tossing out all the conventions, what a radical!

this is what there being an effective monopoly in the industry causes.
