Would anyone like to see this match at WrestleMania? The match would be billed as who is the true "dominant" superstar of the two. The build can start at the Rumble with Corbin eliminating Strowman and the next night on Raw. Strowman is pissed and tells Foley that he wants to go to SD Live and confront Corbin. Foley tells him that he would have to talk with Bryan about that and Braun tells him that he better or else. The next night on SD, Corbin is being asked about Strowman wanting to confront him and Corbin just laughs and walks away. The next week on Raw, Strowman is really pissed about how Corbin shrugged him off and tells Foley that he will appear on SD and make Corbin see what fear truly is. SD comes and there is security around to make sure that Strowman doesn't get into the building. Bryan never gave the clear to Foley for Strowman to appear. Corbin comes out to the ring and cuts a promo about Strowman and mocks how he won't get past security. We cut backstage and see bodies of security guards laid out and Strowman making a beehive to the ring. He comes down the ramp and SD Live superstars try to stop him but to no avail. Corbin gets out of the ring and they start brawling. The rest of the SD live roster comes out to break them up. Next week on Raw, Strowman gets kayfabe suspended during a in-ring segment and Corbin appears out of nowhere and a brawl happens. The Raw roster comes out to break it up and Corbin yells at Foley saying that he wants Strowman at WrestleMania.
One week later, Foley says that he talked with Bryan and Strowman and Corbin will face each other at WrestleMania. Thoughts?
I like Baron Corbin (not sold on Strowman like most) but this match would be so unwatchable. If one of them was like really talented in ring performer then match could be something to watch but as it is? mehh.
It keeps them away from somebody far more talented. Strowman isn't going to have a good match with anyone, and Corbin is still too green, so they don't deserve a great worker and they don't deserve a high profile match. This would be a bad match but it would serve both the most important goals in booking them: Don't put them in there with someone who could do better and don't put them over someone better.
Strowman/Corbin is probably no one's dream match and I'm sure it would be sub par. Just give them five minutes of power moves and brawling, culminating in a double count out. Keeping it short minimizes their exposure and keeps the trauma inflicted on the fans to a bare minimum.
"People would always say they wanted to see me vs. Big Show..I would think..Why? Do you need a nap? I've got 5 moves and I can't do any of them to the guy."
strowman is booked more stronger imo, and i have a hard time seeing corbin lasting long. should almost be a squash match. idk if corbin can even do end of days on strowman
neither can afford a loss to someone in a similar current position to themselves, corbin should continue his current good work and develop more character
strowman should either retire show or win the andre
